  1. Hi i would check with the dealer. I was told that if you want a 190 it needs to have 4x4 system.
  2. Hi If the one that speaks,is the person I am thinking off,he as left. The young one is still there. If you ask him anything he just mutters and smiles. I am sure he is sat in the corner, so he can be plugged in and charged up.
  3. hi Gordon the goofer is now at the Maserati garage. Ha Ha I am sure Maserati cc will love that. A favourite saying off Gordon's is. I don't think it's anything to worry about. The new service manager is no better. They promise to phone you but never do. As for the fool on the service desk,I don't know what one you are referring to.
  4. Hi Got to agree with you haggis999 I am not impressed with the new service manager. I've bought a few of cars from this dealership. But no more. The dealership was improving ,but they have been a number of changes to staff. And they seem not to be bothering about their customers. I have complained to the dealer principle, and I was promised a phone call, I am still waiting.
  5. Hi I bought a Audi A4. New shape 3months old Missed my vrs to much, bought a pre reg vrs est about a week ago. Love it. I did have a look about.before buying the vrs. Looked at the Mazda 6, mondeo, Passat, the golf gtd est. The reason I bought the vrs again, was I could test drive it before buying it.
  6. Hi Thomas 5265 No I traded the car in My dealer was absolute crap. Never been back to the dealership. They have lost 5 of my family's business. your dealer seem to be trying to fix the issue. It's a pity, it's a great car to drive. Like you I was planning to keep the car for a few years.
  7. Hi Thomas 5265 I had the same issue as yourself with my vrs4x4. Went to the dealer a number of times, and all they could say, I don't think it's anything to worry about. But I am glad you've got a better dealer than what I had. Hope you get it sorted out. Please keep us informed how you get on.
  8. Hi You drill the wheel arch liner, and I am sure it's a plastic rivet that holds the mudflap to the liner. Hope this helps
  9. Hi The general public can buy the se tech. I had no problems And the se tech has the alloy looking insert in the dash. Hope this helps
  10. Another cost cutting. Is the stainless steel protector as you open the boot. It's now plastic.
  11. Hi Stewart 7 I had same issue with my vrs 4x4 diesel dsg. I went to my local dealer parks of Hamilton a number of times, and I basically got the same answer as you, even though I had driven the demonstrator which was whine free. I do beleave that the dealership don't want to start and investigate this issue, as it could be a number of things as moggy tech has said. And they won't get payed for the investigation work by skoda. The dealership would rather you just keep driving your car until it breaks-down. Then they can say ooo the gearbox is knackered. As for skoda customer services well that's another story. I hope you get your issue sorted.
  12. Hi Time for a update. Arrangements where made, for my car to go to another dealership for a second opinion by Skoda cs. Then I was told to take the car back to the supplying dealer. Where I would be given a loan car for a couple of days,so my car could be checked over. And also the sound recording of the noise could be sent to Skoda technical department. On arrival at the dealership I was asked if I would go out on a test drive with the service manager so he could hear the noise. So after a drive round about the town, the service manager said he didn't think there was anything to worry about again.( it's just a transmission noise) I said I thought this car was coming for a couple of days so you can check the car out and send my recording down to Skoda technical To get there input. No. Was the reply. Run the car for a few weeks and come back and see if the noise has got any worse. Contacted Skoda uk cs and spoke to the cs services manager who had made the arrangements and explained what had happened. She said this is not what had been arranged by her, and she would be in contacted with the dealership then she would. All me back. 20 minutes later I got a call back from Skoda cs saying they had spoken to the dealership and they wanted to know if I would like them to make an appointment with another dealership for them to check the car over. My reply was your having a laugh. Skodas reply would you like a couple of day to think it over. My reply no. For the last 14 years I have driven Skoda, and this looks like my last one. All Skoda said was ,we can have your car booked into another garage for a second opinion. My reply was I didn't buy it from another garage. It all comes down to who is going to pay for the mechanics time, while he is trying to find out, where the whining is comming from. All the best Auto 1
  13. Hi Gyuri I am sure you can buy this mat its self from superskod. Sorry about previous post. Hope this helps.
  14. Hi gyuri Yes i kept my Mat from the S3 superb. I am sure you can buy this mat its self from superstore. Hope this helps.
  15. Hi Gyuri When I sold my s3,I took my rear centre Mat protector out. It's a bit to long, but it's easily cut and does the job. I only cut the top part of the mat, that fits between the seat and the back of the centre consul. No need to cut the sides they fit okay.
  16. Hi folks Made a number of phone calls to Skoda customer services. And the car is being booked into another dealer. Same old story, got your money don't give a dam. Thanks to everyone for their feed back.
  17. Hi folks I have a 5week old vrs dsg 4x4 octavia hatch. The problem that I am having is between 25 to 35mph I am getting a whining noise. Now some times this can be quite faint and others can be a bit more noticeable. Does anyone else have this problem? Been to the dealers 3 times concerning this issue, and they can hear the Whine, but they say they don't think it's anything to worry about. Any feed back would be appreciated.

  20. Hi I have the same problem with my 140 hp est. I contacted skoda uk with my vin number. Two days later I got a phone call from skoda uk, and was told d v l a had made a mistake. Skoda sent me a letter with the correct details, and I have sent it onto d v l a with my v5 for them to correct the v5.
  21. Hi Arsey You should have a umbrella with your car. Hope this helps.
  22. Hi Paul The only problem you may have,if you wait for the face lift model is the vat offer may not be on. Plus just now there is another £1000 off plus the vat offer.
