I have a similar issue regarding the egr. Its a pain in the hole. My biggest concern is a weird rattle noise coming from the egr location. I hope somebody has an easy solution even with vcds.

Does anyone know much about the egr valves on the Octavia 1.9tdi engines? I got an engine light saying 'insufficient flow on egr' I had it removed and cleaned but the gasket blew on it and melted some plastic part next to it and now theres a weird rattle noise. Also when I turn the engine off there is a vibrating noise? Can anyone advise what this plastic part might be, I can try get images of the part.

im having a problem with the rear wiper washer, when i turn the washer on i can hear the pump but no water comes out of it. anyone have a solution?

recently my rear reversing lights are not working, i changed the bulbs and checked the fuse and still nothing. i heard there is some sort of sensor that screws into the top of the gearbox? could someone confirm this or give me a solution to the problem pleaseee

sounds like a bit of work to strip the rear cables for the amp, i think the best option would be to buy an aftermarket head unit with a sub output on it.. thanks very much anyway mate
