  1. Finally managed it. Had to use a PC to download the files rather than the iMac. Not sure what the difference is as the files are both .PNG files. Anyway sorted now.
  2. Hi Having trouble with this. I have an iMac and have downloaded the icons from VW and saved to a pen drive. Looking on the pen drive I don't have the option to un zip, I only have the option to compress which leads me to believe they are un zipped on the pen drive. I have then sat in the car and plugged the pen drive into the USB port, the system sees the pen drive and the folder I open the folder to see all the icon files in a .pnc format. When I select the required file it dosnt load onto the preset station so not sure what to do. I have tried my old PC, but after 20 minuets with it fighting to display numerous adverts and pop ups I gave up before it was thrown out of the window. Any ideas would be welcome. Kind regards John
  3. I ordered the spare wheel as an option on my new car, £75.
  4. I would have thought a big end issue would get worse as the engine oil warmed up, not better.
  5. Here is my vRS TSI with DSG and leather. Only done a 100 miles or so in her but first impressions are very good. Really liking the gearbox.
  6. Just picked up my vRS TSI yesterday and averaged 23 mpg on the 100 miles I've done so far. I hope that improves...
  7. Just picked up our new car today on 19" extremes. We have a 2009 vRS on 17" rims and my first impressions are that the new car on 19" ride better, more compliant than the old car on 17". Only driven it a 100 miles so will see how I get on.
  8. Hi, thanks for the nice comments. It is rather nice, loving the colour, makes a nice change from the myriad of blacks silvers and greys. I placed the order 10th of December, but the dealer did say that they had changed an existing order to suit my spec. It was delivered beginning of February and has been waiting at the dealers since. Kind Regards
  9. Here is my new car, at the dealers ready for March the 1st. Looking forward to Sunday.
  10. And my point is that, I would be surprised if the the factory "ran in" every car on a rolling road. There is a world of difference between running a car on rollers to ensure the transmission works and running on a rolling road. http://vid139.photobucket.com/albums/q295/johntyboy/P1000741.mp4 Thats a rolling road. And I agree that there is no need to treat new cars with kid gloves, I will be using mine as intended.
  11. Went to see my new car at the dealers this week and the radio didn't work, the rear parking sensors were in fault and the engine managment light was on. When I enquired about this the dealer said it was normal as this is how they are shipped. Might be bull.... Also I would be surprised if Skoda run every car on a rolling road. I know Porsche spin every engine (out of the car) on an electric rig, no combustion as they can monitor most things without the need to actually run the engine, only a small % of the engines get a full test on a dyno (again out of the car) with fuel water etc.
  12. All new cars are delivered with the engine management system in "get you home mode" which prevents you or the shippers driving the car hard.
  13. Looking forward to getting it home cleaned polished and sealed.
  14. Sounds like a very nice collection, 65 cars are worth load of money at the moment.
