  1. Thanks for that, does it look ok? Are you able to fully insert the side headrest into the seat when not used? Looking at pictures the centre headrest seems narrower and fatter than the side ones. Cheers Dave
  2. Anybody with a center headrest able to tell me whether a headrest from the left or right rear seat or even front passenger will fit the middle seat? Rang skoda and they want £115 for headrest and bushes. As baby seats are occupying the side seats I was hoping I could get away with just the bushings for £16.02 and utilise an unused headrest. Cheers Dave
  3. Sorry, the service was in December. Tyres are same as before the drop. Car sounds and runs fine, but I'll check for air and boost leaks when I get the chance. It's covered just over 60k and had a new timing chain about 2 years ago. Dave
  4. I've had the car nearly 4 years now and haven't experienced a drop in economy like this before. I get fuel from whichever filling station I'm near when running low, so a mixture of supermarket and shell, esso, BP etc. But no improvement. Are there any sensors which might be worth testing like MAP sensor? I replaced the air filter in November even though it wasn't particularly dirty. Thanks for the reply. Dave
  5. Hi folks, I've experienced a reduction in fuel economy on my 2010 1.2tsi 105. It started around November of last year, and went from me usually seeing 45mpg to now being 35 to 40 at best. Nothing had been done to the car but things I've tried since which have caused no improvement are: Checked tyre pressures. Full service inc. iridium plugs. Full bottle of Redex in a tank of fuel. Currently running redline si-1 in fuel. The car runs and drives well, no engine management lights etc. The old plugs all looked good and the coil pack and HT leads are under 2 years old. Is there anything else I can check? I have a basic obdII scanner. Cheers Dave
  6. Anybody? A picture of the headlight would be really helpful right now. Dave
  7. Hi, I've had my Roomster for 3 weeks now and last Friday night took it for a run down to Norfolk for the weekend, as it was the first bit of proper unlit night driving since I got the car I found the distance of the headlight beam to be terrible! I had a boot fully loaded and the cabin headlight adjustment to its highest and it only illuminated a distance of 2-3 car lengths. Certainly not sufficient for fast un-illuminated A and B roads. So while I was there I adjusted (what I thought) was the beam angle adjustment to find it was the adjustment for the distance the projector lens extends from the cutout in the headlight. Doh! I Faffed around with it so much before realising I can't remember where it was before I started. I have now adjusted the beam angle with the other hex screw on the top of the headlight but could somebody please look at their Roomster and see if there is a gap (if any) between the opening for the projector lens and the lens itself? Thanks in advance Dave Edit: Forgot to mention it's a 2010 Roomster 1.2TSI 105 with the separate H7's for dipped and full beam.
  8. Hi Folks, I'm new to Briskoda and would just like to extend a hello to this forum and it's members I am the proud owner of a Roomster 1.2TSI 105 which I've now had for the last 3 weeks. Anyway, I'm hoping to get a bit of support with regards to headlight adjustment so I'm off to create a thread about that Cheers Dave
