  1. I wonder how someone can dislike the panoramic sunroof. It lights up the whole interior, making it a far nicer place to be.
  2. Why not try the old solution? Erase the phone from the bluetooth connected devices to the car and then reconnect it. It may work...
  3. Unfortunately I don't have the workshop manual. I think maybe eyegr has it.
  4. That is a just so wrong, probably a misconception due to experiences with (way) older 3 cylinder engines. Practically all new 3 cylinder petrol engines (e.g. Ford 1.0T, PSA 1.2T, VAG 1.0T, BMW-Mini) are as refined as any 4 cylinder petrol engine and at the same time better sounding and more gutsy - free revving than their usual 4 cylinder counterparts. Just test drive anyone... The same doesn't apply to the 3 cylinder diesels, especially the new VAG 1.4 TDi which is inferior in every way (except consumption) to the older 1.6 TDi. On the other hand, the BMW-Mini 3 cylinder diesel 1.5T is a dream. Great sound, gutsy, eager to rev (for a diesel) it almost transforms the Mini to a small GTi.
  5. Comparing the drive, handling and comfort of a Rapid to a Ford Focus is a joke! The Focus is a far superior car in every way. And that is not a matter of personal taste or preferences!
  6. Been there, done that! Absolutely no result...
  7. Can we see some photos of the Cupra front splitter fitted? Also, what kind of tweaking is needed?
  8. I have an android phone and had to convert all my contacts to latrin characters. Gutted, to say the least... especially after having driven a new Seat Leon with absolutely no problem with greek characters.
  9. There is no sunglass holder in cars with the panoramic roof! Not enough space between the interior lights and the panoramic frame.
  10. You should have changed the air filter also, because in dusty environments (I live in Greece) it will not perform as it is supposed for 30,000 Km. I had mine checked after 16,000 Km and it was seriously clogged, so I chanded it. That made an impressive improvement in low revs. Every morning the car starts in a subterranean garage and has to climb a rather steep incline, after a very tight turn. Prior to changing the air filter, the car was struggling, but after the change the car was significantly more responsive. A clogged air filter should also increase fuel consumption.
  11. I was also considering the Cee'd, but opted for the Rapid instead, after I have test ridden both of them. The 1.4D 90 hp Kia engine is totally gutless compared to the 90 hp 1.6TDi version. And although I liked the exterior of the Cee'd, I found its interior totally dull and lacking in style. On the other hand i got my Rapid with the 4-year warranty as a free extra, when I negociated the purchase.
  12. Actually there is the wrong way and the right way and that is not a personal opinion! The right way is a set of components for the front speakers (components so as to have at least the tweeter at the right height) and nothing or just a sub (for the lowest frequencies) at the back. The wrong way is installing speakers in the back doors or the shelf. Why? To cut a long story short, beacuse stereo material is meant to be heard facing the music from the two front speakers. You might like the pseudo-surround effect of the music coming from all around you, but it is just not right, in the same way that a photo with over-saturated colors is inaccurate.
  13. If I am not mistaken cars with diesel engines need different (higher) tyre pressure than those with petrol engines...
