  1. The wiper switch has 4 positions. Off, intermittent/auto, normal, high speed. When in the second position (auto/intermittent) you can alter the sensitivity of the auto by the rocker switch on the top surface of the lever.
  2. Apple Maps navigation is quite good, including reporting incidents, but it depends on a phone signal. As far as I know there's no way to go offline.
  3. Wish Apple would open up to 3rd party apps.
  4. The Black Bear (1.4Tsi SE) in its natural environment (rain) Skoda Kodiaq by Stephen Lee, on Flickr
  5. Hmm .. you've got me thinking now ...
  6. Thanks. That's what I thought, but I can only change my password from there. No other options are showing. Do I perhaps need a certain number of posts?
  7. I have mild (compared to many) arthritis in back and knees. My previous car, up to 6 weeks ago, was a Kia Sportage. Although a high-sitting vehicle, and comfortable once in, I had to twist and bend to enter. This did not become apparent till I'd bought the car. However, the Yeti is far easier to enter and leave, and gives good support on journeys. (PS how do I change my profile to reflect new car?)
  8. Hi - I've just joined as I'm in the process of buying a new Yeti, which I collect on Monday I'm coming here from a one-year-old Kia Sportage, which is a good car but inappropriate for my needs. I bought the KX3 Satnav, which has the 2.0 diesel unit. The problem being that I only drive low annual mileages these days, being retired, and although I'm assured that the DPF on this car should not be affected, I'm getting poor economy and it does feel like it's choking up. I need a 4x4 because of the distance from my home to a public road - about 1.5 miles on often-muddy and sometimes flooded tracks. So, I've chosen a Yeti L&K 1.8 TSi. The only car which was readily available to me (I don't like to wait for things) is a Cappuccino Beige model with, fortunately, the spare wheel option. I'm told the colour looks better than it sounds! I'll probably be doing a lot of lurking and not much posting to start with, but be prepared for some stupid questions. Oh, my part-time "job" is that of Moderator on an Olympus photography forum, so if you want to know anything about these wonderful cameras, just ask.
