Hi, I have had my wiper motor pack up so I have got an aftermarket replacement but it wont work the fuse 41 is OK and there is power to the plug but no sign of life when the stalk is pressed to wash or wipe, no sounds from under the bonnet either, any advice would be gratefully received, keep it simple please! Hi all as a new owner just a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. I have a 1.9TDI with 81,000 miles up, I have heard that when changing cam belts it is advised to change the water pump too, is there anything to be gained (Other than a new water pump) in doing this? What is the optimum service interval for cam belt changes? Is it a relitively easy job? if not any idea what I should expect to be charged for a belt and tentioner change? plus w pump? thanks in advance Tony

Good evening, Just to introduce myself, Tony live in Devon UK, am picking up my first Skoda tomorrow an 08 octavia 1.9 TDI Elegance in metalic dark grey. I also own a toyota surf 4x4, citroen 2cv,and an ami super and am looking forward to getting to know this motor perhaps will a little assistance from those on here. I certainly did from those on Highlux surf.co.uk.
