Thanks folks for all ure help I seemed to have got things wrong I now change gears just before 2000 revs and let it build up slower to the next gear change am now getting 42 mpg happy with that

It's near half now so I'll just let it empty and see Many miles I get out of it

I never let it go down that far always refill at half tank

Am getting this from the MFD or as I call it money for diesil Lol

What kind of mpg would use be getting

Driving distance is around 20 mins long all short jounnerys at the start I was change at 2000 but it just eats diesel at that and if am going up hill I change just after 2000 to make sure it's ready for the next gear

Have been thinking on remapping to some extra mpg do these cars take it good

Yes it's all town driving up hill and down hill stoping and starting accelerating more on hills

Hi all I have just bought a 2011 superb estate 2litre diesel 170bhp 93000 miles mpg seems very low at 39mpg and that's me changing gears early at just under 15 on the rev counter what kind of mpg is every one else getting around town driving and what more can I do to get better mpg thanks
