  1. Hi all, Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated - posting on behalf of somone else so I'm giving as much info as I can. Basically 2005 Octavia had coil pack replaced, the car then ran fine for 2 days and then the ECU failed, The ECU has been replaced and the original coil packs put back in as they thought it might have been the new ones that fried the ECU. It then threw up a fault on the immobiliser, which inconveniently is in the clocks - one set of clocks replaced, immobiliser recoded by the Auto electrician and yet still no joy. The battery has been recharged and there are no fault codes but the car is ticking over but not firing up. Thanks
