Hello, I would like to ask if anyone has information about the functionality cruise control after replacing the gearbox 2.0 TDI BKD (PD) to a variant of the 2.0 TDI 103 kilowatts (CR). These transmissions have lower speed at the 5 and 6st, but so far I could not find what is "allowed" speed range of the engine ECU for proper function cruise. Thank you for anything

karlos1987 replied to marekczek's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
not, slip rings are fully compatible, problem is only between preFL and FL, because FL has angle sensor integrated in slip ring. -
Which kind of BSG/BCM do you have? We are talking about preFL or FL car?

Battery disconection is not neccesary, ifcar is in OK condition, all airbags are ruled by airbag main unit and without impact signal is no aibag ignition signal...

FL and preFL are different, but you are able to install it on prefl bumper etc... -
EA 189, 2.0 CR TDI engines since 2009 till 2014, Common rails diesels EURO5 and EURO5+

Hi CWARD:) That is not so complicated. Octavia MK1 is 1U, which means internal platform name of Skoda, so for skoda is Mk1 platform 1U, but not for VW, there is platform A4. Octavia MK2 is 1Z, but is builts on VW platform A5 ( Golf, Audi A3, Leon) Octavia MK3 is 5E, correct platform under MQB I don't know

Hello Phil, technically it is not possible, because Octavia/Golf platform has different place for locks and so on, you only possibility is take the cover and place him on octavia seats, not more. Sadly, the rear armrest doesnt fit too, but is very nice (drink holders+storage). -
