Has anyone looked at the gear ratios between manual and DSG? I think it makes a difference in efficiency.

Just a quick question as I'm from another part of the Europe entirely. Don't you have car insurance for this? It is extremely strange to me that you don't have a car insured for this. Even if you'd have to pay for a part of the damage yourself it'd just be some percentage of the whole cost. I'm really interested if anyone cares to explain.

Maybe they just have your exact configuration somewhere in stock? If this is not the case it would mean that everyone ordering your configuration before you, would get their car sooner?

Guys, just to keep you in perspective. My 12 year old Corolla has 27 mpg. It's a 1,6 VVT petrol engine with 110 hp. Looking forward to achieving above 30 mpg with my octy.

Okay, let me ask a possibly silly question, but I really have no idea. Do you have mandatory use of winter tyres there? How many years do your tyres usually last? And how many miles/kilometres? I'm thinking that if you stay within the legal speed limit there is no point in remapping the car. A 100 hp engine will get you there easily.

Please report on any reliability issues that might arise later on. I'm afraid the jump is quite heavy on other parts of the package. How does the jump in power feel? Isn't it a bit too much for the front tyres to handle?

It just occured to me that the 100 might have been off of a truck decal that they have on the back. I'm not sure for UK trucks, but here busses and trucks have these 80/90/100 stickers that look just like speed limit signs. Considering the 'dumb' computer can't figure out where it came from without satnav. Would be a great option to have like this for free, but not without satnav.

In a Black pack you get black wing mirrors and black grill frame. On the estate you get also the black roof racks. But in my view if it was the other way around, and you'd get black wing mirrors as standard I'm sure most guys would pay to get them in car paint. Silly actually. Update: Sorry for misunderstanding if you were asking about the new Black Limited Edition.

I'm happy to find that not even one photo is exactly as the RS I've ordered. So many race blues, almost all with black package, many estates. Three things not on my list. :clap:
