  1. Am I missing something here? my home and dress and last locations in the Nav still appear, despite a factory restore, restoring all settings and data and lastly also going through deleting each category separately.
  2. That’s just it, I’ve got some halogen ones too, but they might be from another car. Thank for your help
  3. I’m putting the S3 back to standard as it’s time for it to go. Swapping some bits over like the super LED boot lights. On the outside I can’t for the life remember if the rear Number plate light is halogen or LED? I remember putting LED in my Octavia 3, but were these standard on the Superb?
  4. Car is 19 months with 14k. Proper braking too, they aren’t cooked and that is how they are all the time recently. I thought the long journey would give them a clean up lol. Yes I don’t use any acid based cleaning stuff so the hubs have stayed reasonably tidy
  5. Is it pretty standard that the rear brake discs aren’t as shiny and more corroded as though the pads have uneven wear. This is what mine look like after a good run out today, plenty of downhill braking too along the coastal roads.
  6. Yep I Agree, and 13.3 didn’t solve it!😩
  7. The little touches make all the difference. You should have got one metal one anyway?
  8. Yeah deffo linked to IOS13. I can’t roll back so will just have to put up with the patch releases until it hopefully goes. They released 13.3 last night.
  9. Thanks both, I missed the update. Will get it downloaded now. @Tom34 I’ll see if I have any difficulty. We’re you downloading direct from the Skoda portal, or MartiniB’s previous link?
  10. I called my local dealership today, they informed me to just top it up with water! Fair enough, it goes back in 5 months anyway and if anything does go wrong now I’ve only done as instructed!
  11. Yes I think it has, unless I didn’t get the angle right before. But with a phone light flash, the level is low as illustrated with the yellow line. I think I might just call the dealer and see what they say. I’m very wary of coolant lights as I had ongoing issues with a Touran, albeit that car was older and 100k mikes on the clock! I was reading your post before. How awful for them to initially charge you for it!
  12. Normal for this to come on a 18 month old car which has covered 12k miles? For info visual inspection looks like the water is to the required even. Obviously checking this first thing in morning when it tends to bong.
  13. Not gone that far yet tbh. If I arrow back it disappears and then says unable to connect. I have got audio and telephone coming through now so all good. Ive sent Apple some feedback. Hopefully one of the next fix releases will resolve. I considered rolling back to IOS12 but silly me didn’t back up!
  14. Not using Skoda connect anymore. Sorry yes didn’t explain how it came about. Simply phone auto connects to Bluetooth, the first few seconds of a song play and then that comes up. No music, nothing. I inputted my phones pin, it just says please wait and I have to turn infotainment off and then back on. It’s only happened since I have the beta version of IOS13, so must be a major bug somewhere. In fact that whole beta has bugs, seems a very premature release. I was just seeing if anyone had suggestions on what the PIN could be as I don’t remember setting one up on the infotainment.
  15. Anyone know what this is? I tried my phone PIN, it says please wait and goes unresponsive. Ive got beta version of IOS13 on my iPhone. So the phone is to blame but wondering if any other beta users out there.
  16. Not been on for a while. Last weekend did a good clean of the S3 with a coating of dodo juice.
  17. I quizzed her again and swears blind nothing touching the key. The car was closed when she left it and walked away looking back before going in to the building. Later that day it was open. Key wasn’t on her and still in her locker untouched. Ive no reason not to doubt her, but it’s bugging the hell out of me. Thank you you will take a look on that other thread. I’m also going to get her to hold down the boot button where her locker is to see if it opens from that distance and through the brick walls. If it does perhaps maybe someone pulled her bag out or something, that’s the only logical explanation I can give.
  18. I did try a search, but couldn’t see anything. I’ll put this out there to see if anything similar has happened to anyone. Her in doors was at work today, parked the car and locked as normal. All windows, doors and boot were closed. Later that morning, she was looking over In the general direction of the car and found the boot to be open? Kessy key was untouched, in her bag in a locker and more than 50ft away. I did all the usual questioning, but her keys were no where near the car and no one had access. Unsure how long the boot was open, luckily nothing missing. Any thoughts and yes we do have the powered tailgate option. Cheers.
  19. I know the type but we are not all like that! As above mine is purely for potential insurance claim, I've had someone drive in to us and also when parked in a car park, reversed in to and drive off! You missed the c0ckwombles that have the dash cam smack in the middle of their windscreen impairing their view with wires hanging down and it glaring brightly as they bought a cheapo one that doesn't shut the screen off
  20. The power is picked up from the front unit. I just tucked my wire in the headlining between the seal, and works just fine. You'll need to see what rear camera options are with the next base if you go with the dealer fit option. You could even buy the rear camera and ask the dealer how much extra to charge if you can't be bothered doing yourself?
  21. Rear gives more coverage and more reassurance IMO
  22. Id go with Goodyear’s out of the two you mentioned, but my OCD would be pit some Pirelli’s on to match the other 2. Ive got Bridgestone Potenza’s on from factory. 8k miles up and still good on the front. I give them a load of punishment too. Only downside is starting to get a little noisey, maybe as they’ve worn down a bit now. This thread has some good posts
  23. 2019 map updated successfully today on the way back from Derbyshire. Interestingly, the infotainment crashed out today (before I did the update.) Tunred off the car two or 3 times then gave up. It was coming up with a few errors on the dash, including No SOS service and no sign recognition. A mile down the road I kept tapping the power button on the screen and it came back to life. Never happened before so a coincidence that I had done the 1st map update a week before or it’s jist throwing a wobbler.
