  1. Covered 160 miles over 3 days going to a wedding during the week then running everyone around. Seen here recharging for free!
  2. So after some debating, I've traded the mk1 Octy vrs for a Nissan leaf. Brand new, big discount through work meaning I get the Nissan employee rate, and a dose of bargaining resulted in this Top spec tekna with upgraded 6.6kw charger, full leather, heated front back seats and steering wheel, all around camera, led lights, auto lights/wipers, TPMS, in built sat nav etc and folding mirrors. All for less than what it cost me to just fuel the Octy (including the electric fuelling of the leaf!). I blame BossFox for leading me astray after reading through his thread....
  3. I would have had it but it's been thrown away by his wife!
  4. Some interior shots, the seats and doors cards are almost like new except for 1 small mark on he passenger seat
  5. Kent-ive text you back if it's the same joe!
  6. Cd changer replaced and now all works, any interest either Pm me or drop me a text 07884390161.i order the leaf tomorrow and will arrive before the 31st (to ensure I catch the government grant)
  7. Well wasn't expecting this but..... For sale is my Octy mk1 vrs hatch in silver, ND04MUB. It's done 102k now, I've only had it six weeks. The only reason I'm selling is I've been offered a Nissan Leaf through work for £180 a month inc my charging costs, so financially currently it makes sense for me to sell the Octy considering I move out next month and I'm spending more on fuel alone on the Octy. It's got part stamped service history, importantly however the cambelt is documented as changed twice (2008,2012). Since owning it I have done an oil and filter service, changed the fuel filter, replaced the radiator fan and rear wiper motor as both seized and changed the exhaust to a blue flame cat back and replaced the brake fluid. The car also has what I think is a stage 1 remap (turbo boost is 13psi whilst usually it's 9psi), and has grooved and drilled discs and EBC red stuff pads on the front. It's running on 215/45 r17 maxis tyres with loads of tread. It's got aftermarket parking sensors , 11 months MOT and the full size spare/jack kit. The EML comes on but this is due to the removal of the SAI pump which can't be coded out on this car (verified by VAGCOM) I've spent over £2k on buying it and fixing it up, but the trade in value was £1800 so I'm happy to let it go for that. It's not perfect, there is a small dent in the a pillar near side, touched up scratch on the roof, slightly kerbed wheels and the exhaust mounting rattles a bit, but for the money it's a good car. It's got a Nokia Bluetooth system which works fine and I'm awaiting the arrival of a CD changer from another Brisky member to replace mine. The interior is very clean and it has the original matts which haven't worn through. It will be getting traded in in around 2 weeks, and I will need to use it up until a few days before getting my Leaf so won't be available straight away (ie this weekend). Grab yourself a bargain. £1800
  8. Hi, I'm after the Y shaped mounting bracket on the back of the radiator fan, it holds the fan against the radiator?
  9. My radiator fan has seized (the larger one on the right as you look into the engine bay). Anyone know the correct part no or the cheapest place to get one, and also If the car is ok to drive?its been making a noise the last couple of days but I just turned the blowers off in the car and it turns off, so I'm thinking if I leave it off it will be fine until replaced?
  10. I'm after a dog guard to separate the rear seats from the boot on my mk1 vRs hatchback but can't seem to find any.ideally is like an original VAG one.anyone got a clue as to the part number or where to find one?
  11. Having been passed by this fabia previously I can vouch for how good the exhaust sounds!
  12. Had U been 6hrs earlier U could have-it's on the car now and I had to cut the old one into pieces to get it off!
  13. As above, not sure if resonated or not.bought last week to put on my mk1 ive just bought, but a distant family member (uncles father in law) moving into a care home means an opportunity to rent a house sooner than planned. I paid £200 for it so looking to get what I paid back so £200 + delivery or collection (kent) The box dates 2008 from Blueflame, but it's sat the last 3 years in a loft so not massively used.looking for quick sale(no offers, it's worth this much and I'm not making a loss) or I will still put it on the car Tuesday.any questions pm me or 07884390161.
  14. I like being able to see out the back so will have to replace it. I think the rubber seal perished and water was somehow getting in, possibly from the washer feed.
  15. This what the inside of the motor looks like :-(
  16. After having my mk1 for a week all is not well. Latest issue is the rear wiper, washing fluid works fine but the actual wiping is very intermittent and doesn't always complete the cycle getting stuck halfway, or just not working at all.....any ideas?
  17. I'll be there. Hopefully the mk1 will run unlike my previous mk2!add me to the list rob
  18. Hello! Having sold me mk2 cr tdi vrs last week :-( I am now the owner of a 04 plate 99k mk1 vrs! It seems that the car has had some Ecu tinkering already, and I am going to attempt to find out what it's had done. It also has groves and drilled discs and ebc red stuff pads. Ive sources a secondhand Blueflame car back exhaust and now to finish off am probably going to go with a k n n induction kit!
