Well i'm currently out "working" in Virginia, and have just paid a trip to Walmart and picked up a few bits for OLAF and JERRY. Has anyone used this before, what are your thoughts? Particularly the DA polisher. Oh...and not 100% sure if i'm going to use these, but it would be rude not too. 8 black and 1 grey.

Is the front bumper trim the same as the MK4 Golf's? Reason I ask, is that i fancy putting those US spec side lights on the Octy, and if its the same trim as a Mk4...well i'm currently stateside for the next 4 weeks, and the VW garage is nearby!!

As above. Clean up your earth points with a bit of wire wool/ sand paper, so nice and clean and shiny. Cover in Vaseline or WD40 to keep moisture away. It sounds like a 'floating Earth' problem.

Ah. Well its got Forge 007p and BMC carbon box, so looking at Robs second picture, it may not fit after all.

Just recently bought my second Vrs, a yellow Mk1. It didn't have an engine cover fitted or supplied. I believe this is probably due to having a strut brace fitted, am I correct? Or can it be fitted with a brace fitted? If so may buy a new one. Cheers
