  1. I took out the front seat ( 4 bolts 5 mins) and it made life 100% easier. However, now I am stuck with a condenser rad that the garage told me, needed replacing. With a little deduction it was clear that the sensor had gone, but it was too late I brought the rad>>>>
  2. My idle is (I think ) high at 950 however it seems that my coolant sensor is open circuit (codee 17664) so I am replacing it in the hope that the idle might reduce to 800 when its read properly. If this fails its main ajent to remap the ECU I suppose. I think my engine is the 100BHP. G

  7. Hi I have a Fabia 19 TDI 2001 Comfort. I also have (and am selling) a 14MPI. I noticed that the TDI takes a lot longer to get up to operating temp compared to the 14 MPI. Is this normal, it takes about 7-8 miles... Also while on the subject, I find that the car if run downin say 3rd gear, seems to surge and almost drive itsself. Is this normal or have I got a problem. Cheers Gary

  11. AHHH So, the cover we are removing is the whole grey front panel? I thought that maybe the cover by the pedals came off as a seperate unit. I will go back and look. I am trying to get the unit at the moment as all the dealers I have called are out of stock and there are nojn in the UK supply bank. I cant wait for the workshop manual to come out and then the rip off skoda dealer can walk. Ta G
