  1. More or less same programming. Some say they all have the same some say the 280 version is hot climate version with reduced timing. Stock 280s has been dynoed between 280 and 300hp same as the 300 version has been dynoed between 290 and 30X. But dynos are lottery and should rather be used as a verify of the same car as superbtte has done. Stock dyno vs tuned dyno and using the first dyno as a benchmark. @superbtte; Impressive build that defines what a true sleeper is. Did you get an explanation of the difference in spool and the powerband with wagner vs forge intercooler? Regards New owner of Forge Intercooler :)
  2. How good is your swedish? You can find a couple of threads regarding people who has upgraded their haldex, either at "garaget.org", "nordicaudi" and "gtiklubben.se". Haven't seen anyone disapointed about the upgrade. Unfortunality, my Golf ain't 4wd so I can't get it myself. :(
  3. That's true It's just a night on a cruise ship
  4. Never mind.. didn't notice that you already have had a remap.
  5. Hi, It's basically a sw uppgrade, but you also change a valve in the rear axel (easilly done at your driveway). For Haldex gen4 you can either buy the "std" unit which give a higher amount of torque towards the rear axel, or you can buy the slightly more expensive version which is adjustable in 3 stages. Eco, Sport and Race. Where Race gives even more torque and ECO less torque to improve fuel consumption. Most documention about "Haldex Upgrade" is in Swedish (it's a Swedish company that developed the product). But apr also have the system (but way more expensive). http://www.goapr.com.au/products/haldex.html http://www.dli-teknik.se/index.php?section=products&subsection=7&cat=106&s1cat=667〈=en - Swedish developer (11SEK ~1GBP). The purpose with the upgrade is to reduce understeer by adding torque to the rear axel (as Audi has done with their newer 4wd system in RS6).
  6. I've spent the morning reading through this tread and I am completly astonished of what you've accomplished with your Yeti. But since the main purpose with the car is track performance, how come you haven't got a haldex upgrade? That's a pretty common upgrade to do here in Sweden and a quick google-search showed me some suppiliers in the UK aswell. The down side will probably be that you'll ad a kg or so to the weight of your Yeti. Keep it up!
