Hi Had no central locking, no interior lights, etc., No water in foot well, door or any wiring, no corrosion or damage to wiring. Perhaps need to replace comfort control module - really at end of tether, don't want to pay a bomb as may buy or do the wrong thing. Hi Can anyone help is there a wiring diagram anywhere for the control module? Need to get a guy to look at this to see if the problem is external or internal on the module. No electrical windows, no central locking, no interior lights and saying drivers door open and beeping too. Gone on for ages giving up hope now. cheers dave

Hi Guys Put a post up a while ago. My car has a weird issue. The drivers door would not open on the key fob to start with. Then it decided that it would not close the drivers window - good ole gaffer tape comes in handy. Then the boot would not lock on the key. Then the window decided to close when I tried it. The fuse sometimes is ok, then it blows and I replace it, then it goes again. Does anyone have a wiring loom link so I can see what I am looking out? Do I need to change the control box or similar - not sure where to go with this it is driving me mad. Thanks

Unfortunately it has got worse put everything back together, have driven down the road, now says the door is open and the door light stays on! think need an electrical expert. Nightmare. Had a day off from harvest today and have spent three hours of it working on the car and it is now worse

All wiring in door and into car is fine, box is clean and tidy, pins perfect and no water, where do I go next. Into dashboard to check wiring there? thanks

Just to add this problem did start with the drivers door, occassionally not unlocking via the key fob, before everything failed

Have control unit open pins are shiny and clean, on water, any other suggestions please - thanks guys Hope I am right it is the black box at the bottom of the drivers door

Hi Guys Octavia 2002, TDI 1.9 Laurent and Klement Can anyone give me any advice thanks Car problems started a couple of months ago with the central locking on and off not working on the drivers door. Yesterday, everything packed up. Usual problem drivers door would not open on key fob. Manually opened it. Started to drive off, tried to open the window, would not work, tried the others all dead. Lights on mirrors were out too. Boot will not lock on key. So have quite a vunerable car now. Could not find right fuses, tried to change one and it just blew. Any help would be great, cheers dave
