Yes, but seems they are really poor skilled for this thing :( , im sure you know better than they procedure for MIB Columbus, when we retrofit it in Skoda III ! So, their knowledge of MQB is definetely poor by my experience, when i told them about activation code through SWAP they looked in me like some miracle ! So, i'll try explain them, that they need to contact their supplier - factory, about special code for activation, my retrofited MIB Columbus, cause they removed CP that i could install it in my car. Seems, there is really solution, cause in cases like warranty replacement, they have to activate again maps, like in case of new unit retrofited in Skoda III. Hope they will solve it for me. Ok, it's clear. So, i bought this unit Skoda MIB Columbus from official dealer, they removed CP, so i installed without problems. Please confirm me, if i bought this unit from official Skoda dealer, are they in obligation to solve maps activation for me, cause everything is purchased from them - unit, sd cards? So, now dealer has to send request to Skoda factory for map license?

Dealer can remove CP, but nobody explained clear about special code via SWAP, so if someone has more knowledge about activating maps after removing CP, please post here... I removed CP at dealer, but dealer doesn't know much about this special code via SWAP, cause at this dealer most of staff are noobs..

Who provide that "special code", Skoda dealer, or? Who send that code via SWaP to the Columbus? So, if i understood you, dealer ask for special code via SWaP? Does dealer need VIN from me? I removed CP in my Skoda by dealer, so what next to do, to avoid blocking maps after 20 seconds, instead using trick with "empty fuel tank" ?
