Skoda Octavia elegance 1.8t estate 4x4 2002 142k Taxed and tested till May 2015 (mot passed with no advisories) Nearly full service history till I owned it then it has been mainted by myself. Timing belt changed at 101k, recently scanned with vagcom diagnostics and no fault codes found. Will need new rear tyres as the tread is getting low and has a small patch of rust on the bootlid. Whereabouts are you located?

Does anyone have part number for the oil and filter? Do I have to have to special tool to get the filter out or can i use something else? Where are the fill/drain points. Sorry for all the questions, gonna give it a go myself.

My car has been along some weird hissing sounds do i decided to investigate. I found a split pipe, it goes from the bottom of the inlet manifold to a green connector. Can anyone tell me what it's for and what impact it will car if i drive the car with out it. Its a 1.8t 150. Changed the oil on my car today, whilst under the bonnet i notice the injectors looked wet and it was making a hissing sound when running. Think it might be the injector seals. Can anyone help?
