Did you find the sollution for your issues? I’m having similar issues.

I have a water leak in my car when raining or driving wet roads. Its only on drivers side (LHD) both front and back. I dont have a sunroof so that is not the issue. Any clues where to look? I had the car at the dealers, but they werent able to find it and said they needed to keep the car for some days to find it.

When driving in the darkness 8 months a year with mouses, reindeers and deers you would want to see them before they are in your front, or god forbid, inside your cabin. THATs why we have them and most people people use their common sense when meeting other cars.

What number/colour is the signal cable to the highbeam? Did you use the Canm8, XBB or some other unit?

I was testing this Superb Sportline earlier this week. I passed a few speedbumps with no issues at all, and i think the ride height is enough for riding in wintertime and on bumpy roads. I live in northern part of Norway and snow is also an issue for me, but im not worried about that at all when considering to buy this car.

Xenons atleast have the signal on the white/yellow cable if you havent testet that yet.

The car is still under warranty so i prefer to pay a bit extra to have it done at a dealer. Im in Norway.

On my car it was about 150€ in Skodaservice in Norway.

The Haldex unit will be serviced at 60.000km along with the breakfluid and DSG oilchange. Mine is due mid august.

Or you could simply buy the credits if you can afford them. I paid like 15£ for 100 credits. The APP function of OBD11 is so simple its scary. I made it possible to deactivate the ESP by button via the use of the credits.

The sound alone makes the 1,8 TSi a lot better than the diesels Only negative is the consumption is worse, but all things concidered im very happy with my TSi.

Could be that i remember wrong and that there was a button i had to press to get the menu on the screen. This testdrive was in 2014 i think, it was a blue diesel with 4x4 as the TSi was out the day i was there.

The first Octavia i testdrove, in Tromsø actually, had the posibility to change drivingmode in the satnav unit. I dont remember if there was a button also. I am aware that it is possbile to add the button but it seems like a lot of work if it can be done only by VCDS.

My Octavia doesnt have driving mode selection and i would indeed like to have that option. Is it possible to get the options in the navi unit using VCDS? Br Raimoxxl

People in Scandinavia usually do this at home or have the local garage fix it. You will find plenty of guides of how to in youtube or in various forums.

How many kilometers you have on your car? From my experience the consumptions decreases quite a bit from new to my 34.000km. My last long trip i had an average of 7liter/100km with average speed of 80 km/t for 400km.

Yep that is true. My only complaint, and it's not a big one, is that the missing possibility to completly shut down the ESP :(

The 4x4 is worth the money every time you put the pedal to the metal. The stability is amazing and it makes the car better in the curves even when not driving like crazy.

Gromle: when knowing our roads & winters, i think they are better off with the Scouts than the stiff VRS :p

MPG gets better in time, from new to what i experience now there is a drop of approx 20-25% in consumption.

I see the same thing on mine 2014 L&K but it is gone rather quickly so i dont worry about it.
