Rough idle and now power when taking off 1.9tdi 130hp

Thanks for the response, Its not making any hammering or knocking noises. it sounds fine. it just struggles when in lower revs. its normally fine when first started but starts stuttering and struggling when idle as it starts to warm up. the warmer it gets, the rougher it gets -
Hi guys First post and I've gone through a few similar posts but nothing exactly like what my problem is. I've got a 2006 1.9tdi with 130hp. it started losing power so brought it into the mechanic and was told it was just a loose vacuum pipe on the turbo but the EGR needs to be replaced so it will run rough. replaced the EGR and i noticed there was oil in the coolant. brought it back to the mechanic and they said needs a new oil cooler. he said it wasnt the head gasket because the oil wasnt frothy and there was no coolant in the oil. So I ordered a new oil cooler, replaced it, flushed out the rad a few times to get the oil out and filled up with new coolant and put new oil in the engine. oil has gotten back into the coolant but the oil level in the engine hasnt dropped. maybe i didnt clean the rad out fully. The engine is still idling rough. the warmer it gets the rougher it gets. In lower revs when trying to pull off there is no power even with my foot planted and when the turbo kicks in it takes off like a bullet. even when driving if the rpm is about 1500-2000 and i put my foot down there is no response for about 3-4 seconds like its got about 50hp then the thing kicks like a bat out of hell and i get all 130 horses back. when it idling the engine stutters and jumps but doesnt conk and it slow to rev up when im coasting and slowing down if the rpm drops down to about 1500-2000 and i press the accelerator it shudders and struggles as if its about to conk like i have it down at 500rpm then the turbo kicks in and away we go. Any idea as what could cause the engine to struggle so much? before the turbo kicks in there is no power and (not a lot) of smoke. also i noticed the fuel consumption when idle would normally be at 0.6 litres per hour is up at 0.9 litres per hour on the dash computer but when im driving its the same as what it was. Thanks in advance for any help guys
