  1. So does it live just behind the glovebox? I have ordered a replacement pollen filter too so will swap that at the same time. Thanks for the advice Wino. Thanks Shaun
  2. Yeah, this is not a wear and tear item. This would 100% be covered on a warranty.
  3. Good Evening, I hope you are all well. im a long time lurker here, haven’t posted here in a while. Recently my Fabia’s heating has stopped working on anything other than full speed. I have read around the issue and apparently it’s quite a common problem and it is caused by a blown resistor pack. Anyway, as there is no easy way of getting a workshop manual, does anyone know how to replace this on a Mark III? Many Thanks Shaun
  4. The other thing you could do is visit your local carpet shop, most places make runners out of old scraps of carpet for very little, I'm sure they would have no problem taking the surplus parts off so they fit and re-binding them, they could even bind the edges a different colour if you wanted. Shaun
  5. Its based on the SE, so yeah the trim is pretty plain, hence why I wanted to add something to it. The great thing about the steering wheel is that although its not leather, it feels great, its made out of a nice composite material unlike the steering wheels on the 107/C1/Aygo. Shaun
  6. Thanks for the kind words! Yeah I thought about doing Orange wheels but being honest, I like the Black :-), also all the modifications I have done are very easily (and cheaply) reversed so when I swap it in, the dealer wont kick me on the value. Heres a pic of the interior, it was a very bright day when I took that, its not as Yellow as it looks in the photos.
  7. My mats were only £27.00 from my Skoda dealership, were these considerably cheaper than that flown in from the Czech Republic? Shaun
  8. Thought I'd post some pics of my Black Edition here as well as in another thread. Enjoy!
  9. Heres a few pictures of my Black Edition now. I'm not sure if anyone seen my thread on removing the radio, anyway I wrapped a few interior parts in Carbon Orange (put the image at the bottom), finally my stripes arrived so I fitted them on Saturday. £13.00 all inclusive! I fitted an Orange Philips SpotOn in the boot too, so got the theme running throughout the car :-) I thought about wrapping the mirrors in Orange too but I get the feeling it may be a step too far... Shaun
  10. My Black Edition has about 450 miles on it and I'm well impressed with the 56 MPG I'm getting from it so far... Comfort wise, I'm loving it, it sits at 70mph just right, seats are comfortable and its nippy enough for me around town. Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase! Shaun
  11. Thought I would give my experience... I bought some LED DRLs from eBay and they kept popping my Light Switch fuse, anyway after speaking to the guy who sold me them, he told me they were incompatible and should only be used in the rear cluster, (so I have put them in my rear cluster lol). 2 Days ago, my LED DRLs from HIDS Direct turned up, popped them straight in and voila, piece of cake, look awesome next to my night breakers. I don't want to try and teach people to suck eggs here but I haven't heard anyone mention it on here already and I get the feeling, it may be the problem in a lot of cases... When you change your headlight/sidelight/DRL bulbs, always wear a pair of gloves, the inherent moisture from your palms and fingertips will cause a hot-spot on the bulb which over time will cause them to blow. Anyway DONT TOUCH THE BULB DIRECTLY. Oh and Citigocuti, the DRLs are R580 dual filament (21W and 5W) whilst the headlights are H4. Shaun
  12. Yeah the moulds take an awful long time to make but once its made, casting another is an absolute doddle lol. In fact you could realistically get 100-150 out of a mould lol.I know I certainly d with my parts. Anyway good luck hunting.
  13. I currently cast my own parts for games consoles using silicone moulds, you could very easily make your own stand out of resin if you're willing to put the work in. You could even get a multimeter out, see which of the contact points carries voltage and make it charge your phone. I haven't got the time or conviction to do it myself lol but if you need any pointers, drop me a line. Shaun
  14. Ha! I know what you mean jamesbrett, I have worked in the motor trade for over 10 years and only after leaving last year, have I actually bought my own car. When I set off buying, I said I wouldn't buy a Black one but the deal is just too good lol, 0% Finance on PCP, free servicing and it looks sweet! I put my Polo in part exchange and it came out at £87.00 per month! I'd have loved a Monte Carlo in Red but I couldn't justify the extra £1860 it would have cost me more lol. Shaun
  15. Yeah I know what you mean, I would have had to take a knife to the plastic though to cut it and I wanted to make it completely reversible incase I messed it up lol. Same reason I'm using knifeless tape on my stripes :-D. Shaun
  16. Hello guys, I actually found an online workshop manual for the Up! which was really handy, it let me take a few things off without damaging them through trial and error. Anyway I wrapped a few parts of my interior in Carbon Orange. I'm going to be doing the exterior stripes next week :-) Oh and I did just pull it in the end lol. Thanks
  17. Hello Guys, I have just became a brand new Citigo owner, absolutely love it. Anyway I have seen Damo do a fantastic job wrapping his radio in Carbon Fibre, I'm fitting some Orange stripes onto my Black Edition so am going to wrap a few parts inside the cabin to accent them. Anyway... I have searched the forum for this problem already and can't seem to find it. I am wanting to remove the radio and the little fascia infront of the torx screws, I have attempted the VW Up! tutorial that's posted a few places but the Citigo has an Air Intake Control over and above the Up! pictured and I can't seem to be able to get it off easily. Has anyone else done this, what does it involve? Thanks
