Pretty sure you know what I'm going to ask when talking about the Fabia VRS!
After having a pretty disastrous time with cars over the last few years (currently have a Astra H 1.9 CDTI 150bhp, and had both "common" faults of a dodgy gearbox and a dodgy EGR valve happen), I'm looking at possibly getting a Fabia VRS as a 2nd car.
I've only just picked up on the fact there appears to be a few issues with the engine - working my way through the forum posts right now, but can anyway say if the problems still exist on a "new" car? I've seen posts about 2 different engine codes, and that they have made some upgrades.
Should I be worried?
