Hmm interesting Aki78. Which LEDs are you using? I'm currently using CAN bus "ready" ones - They are using 1.6W.

Hey guys, Have any of you had any success in replacing the number plate bulbs on a Octavia Combi 2015 model? I have tried two different types of LED bulbs now to no avail. The lights are on - but the CANbus error is to annoying. I've followed the VCDS guide in the technical forums.

I have just changed mine from chrome to black. It is very VERY much a bumper off job - You cannot change it correctly unless you do so. I unmounted the bumper myself. It's tough but can be done. XPower posted a guide in the technical section on where the screws are. Well you CAN change it without doing so. But not without destroying the old frame.
