  1. Has it been regassed since the g65 replacement ? Have seen a fair few that leak through the terminal pins of g65. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Resistor is next to the blower motor. Follow the wires from the blower to the resistor. Very easy to remove. No need to remove the glovebox. Just take off the foam trim under the glovebox 2 plastic round screw plugs Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. It's not that bad. The resistor and the wiring are the most likely culprits. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. If you strip out the glovebox and the centre console and follow the wiring from blower motor you will find many hard and sharp points where the wires are rubbing. Your fuse is blowing because it has short circuit. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Ok think I see what you mean. If your charged for something and your not getting it then obviously that's fraud. Like I previously said when you take your car to a dealership it's generally repaired in an efficient time (as fast as possible ) think about what I'm saying here. It's been that way forever. It won't be changed anytime soon. These people get out of bed in the morning to make money for themselves, the company the owners the shareholders. In an ideal world the manufacturer would own and run the garage but they don't because it's not lucrative enough and it's nothing but hassle. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. I don't know where the fraud bit is coming from can you explain your comment . 30 minutes is the time given by the dealer to the Technician to do an oil change service. I now work for an independent there no time limits imposed and we don't follow what the dealer does as it's not value for money. Like spark plugs that you spend most of your time bleating on about. ..They just don't last long enough. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. In my opinion and experience I would recommend you do have your car servicing done at the dealer for the first 5 year's. Then when the brown stuff does hit the fan you have a good chance of factory goodwill. I remember a Yeti coming in whilst working for Skoda. Timing chain failure. I stripped down the engine total mess. Best thing was a new engine. Customer was upset and we went for factory goodwill. Car was almost 4 year's old and it had its 3rd service done by an independent. So Suk would only contribute 20% . The customer had saved himself £30 on his service but lost out by hundreds on this repair. You pays the money you make your choice. 8. Other than the Citygo which is t+d service regieme all the other vehicles don't need a service for 2 years so where's the prerequisite there then? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. Well news to me. Whenever a vehicle came in to any of the Vag dealer's I worked for and I had to carry out a repair under warranty I just asked for a warranty job sheet from the service advisor. As long as the vehicle was under 3 year's old and less than 60000 miles or unlimited mileage in the first 2 year's it was full steam ahead. Nobody ever asked me to check the service history. 10. Why do you think that? Goodwill claim will not help but you will still have your warranty. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. You will struggle to find an easier car to do an oil change on than the Citygo. All you need is a 19mm spanner, monkey grips and something to drain the oil into. One new sump plug and an oil filter and 3.4 litres of oil. No undertray in your way. If you go on YouTube you will find out how to turn your service light off. Very easy. Then you can hiccup in your tyre's and top up your coolant and screen wash . Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. Vag wall's and hurdles are up. Like I said before if they pay for yours they will have to pay for everyone else's. Good luck with it. Never saw anyone get a free clutch while I worked for them. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Fox urine. No idea how you would be able to source that liquid though. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Check out the wires running from the a pillar to the door. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. Why don't you send him a message. Click on his name and press send message. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
