was thinking along these lines, no warning lights or codes on the dash -
my 04 2.5 v6 is a wee bit down on power. seems to take it longer to get the power down, i tried doing 0-60 to see a result and could barely manage 16 seconds (auto box). the car has been serviced 2000 miles ago, so i changed the fuel filter just in case i got bad diesel, also checked air filter and found no issue. there is no smoke or any other sign of an issue. my thoughts are towards a fuel issue, perhaps a solenoid, can anyone point me towards any other issue that might cause this

can anyone have a look at this and let me know if the gap is meant to be there
-
this is a photo of my sunroof seal the gap is about half an inch in the centre at the rear, it lets quite a bit of water in
-
Just sorted the water getting into the car but still wondering why there is a half inch gap in the sunroof seal Surely with a gap in a seal it just becomes a useless piece of rubber I will post a pic soon

Sealed pollen filter last weekend Repaired wiring on passenger side floor All interior lights working correctly. I wasn't happy leaving it like this, I had a gut feeling that there were other water issues Lifted carpets this morning and poured water into sunroof drains, there is still a bit of water coming in on the passenger side just Behind where the multi plug mounts at the passenger kick-plate On the drivers side the water drains out at 2 points below the drivers side floor, 1 of these is directly below the cross member for the drivers seat, auto box controller is dry and drivers side is dry Can anyone help There is about half an inch gap at the rear of the sunroof seal

is there any way of checking if your car has had all of its recalls? have there been many? had a situation in the past where i got a letter from audi about recalls due on a 10 year old a4 i know the local dealership is probably the best place to start
-
really , please tell me this is a joke sorry only just seeing the smilie face
-
it is almost impossible to drive one of these like miss daisy these things need to be driven fast.
-
thanks for the reply, but i definitely have the right car , just the wrong hopes and expectations. maybe time to go to lidl for the cooking oil and run it 50 - 50, only joking

can anyone offer any advice to try to help me

i have just bought an 04 superb 2.5 auto, after having an 03 manual. pound for pound skoda are easily the best car on the road only problem is fuel economy, or lack of it. a lot of short 10 - 12 mile journeys but only getting an average of around 35mpg best on a long run approx 45mpg car is serviced and was well looked after. is there a remap that would help or is there something i am just overlooking. havent checked tyre pressures yet
