  1. Nice. I thought I'd do something similar, since some of the logos on the danish channels (dl'ed from an official german vw-site) seems to be of the wrong resolution, resulting in logos that looks a bit blurry, because it's scaled down on the radio. I read in the manual, that the optimal resolution is 500x500 px. Edit: I just realised that the logos I've downloaded generally is 160x120, so the upscaling is the problem. Minor detail. 2. Is it possible to install without taking out the seat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Mine is a manual with a little less than 1500 km on the clock. It's just around 44 mpg this far... It's been around 70/30 on motorways (110 kmh)/highway (80 kmh)... Not much stuck in traffic. And mostly driven as economically as possible. Surely hope it'll increase it's mpg. I read somewhere that the engine used to be in a VW golf a couple of years back (probably still is), and was put on a test from France to Denmark on mixed roads... Primarily highways., and it lived up to the mpg they claim it can handle... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Picked this up two days ago now... Really really love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hmmm... Sounds like I'll have to skip my dealer an email to make sure it's the right stuff they install... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Love the contrast that the black details makes to the main colour (brilliant silver, isn't it?) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Damnit! I hate danish taxes... I've ordered a Greenline 1,6 TDI, cruise control, bolero radio, climatronic, rear parking sensor, leather on steering wheel, shifter and parking-break and a few other minor things such as black fog lights, footwell lights and such... Around 325000 dkr = 63400 AUS$! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Very nice! Out of curiosity... How much did you have to pay for this beauty? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks. You're probably right, that they won't care. Only my second time I trade cars. @Robert... Sounds like a legit and trustworthy garage, doesn't it? Haha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi all, Just made a deal for a brand new Octavia Greenline for delivery in december (as it looks right now). Part of the deal is my current Fiat Panda (going up a class or two ), and I'm keeping it till the day I'm gonna pick up the octy... BUT... The deal is that I get the servicestamps for the Panda, and since it's due very soon I was wondering what "Service" is considered to be... I mean, I vaguely suspect something needs fixing this time around (though not sure, and it's still starting/driving without flaws). But if I'm going to have it serviced and gets a stamp in the book for it, would it be expected (from the Skoda-dealer) that whatever the garage finds have been fixed? And would that be the norm? Or should I just ask the garage to do the necessary few things for a service according to the manual and that's it? (And hope it won't cost me dearly before the deal is set :-/) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. andyvee - yep - it's not real leather, but didn't know the english term for 'fake leather'
  12. Hi, New here and failed to find the answer in this forum, so here goes... I'm just about to sign a contract on a brand new Oct3 - but I can't figure out whether to get the leather on the back of the front seats - I figured it could prove practical with kids with very often dirty footwear. But I can't find any pictures of it anywhere... Will I still have the pockets on the back of the seats with the leather? Anyone got it and got a view on if it's worth the extra few bucks?
