  1. That's about the MPG I got in my stage 1. My 2260 now I'm getting 50-60 miles per £10 V power V power and cheap diesel work out the same £££ wise, because v power has better MPG but less fuel for £££ works out the same. I personally tried it over a few months, believe me it's basically the same so obviously run V power.
  2. So at 250bhp can I have a standard box with jabbasport cone in a box or shall I have an S2000 filter with some custom heat shielding/open box type thing? Turbo from xman Sent off to xman to recondition Not sure what blew it, here is what happened... Joining dual carrdidgeway, giving it some beans about 4000 revs and it popped and oil all up the rear of my car. Bit of oil in bottom boost pipe (not in intercooler though) Oil in tubular manifold Lots of oil on downpipe/exhaust Turbine shaft looked clean and didn't look to be snapped but it shot out and was in the downpipe When I get the the one and slotted it back on then was zero play or anything, it was like it was just force out but didn't look snapped
  3. Someone told me standard box might be restrictive? What's the deal with ram air foam filters? Yeah xman, send it off to him to look at
  4. There's FWD cars with more than 250 and there's Fabias with more than 250, hardly too much. When I get my turbo back maybe I'll take you for a spin and teach you how to drive, lol.
  5. Any starting points to making a kind of heat shield? Got a 100mm air duct to it and that's it
  6. Running gtb2260 It blew up thenother day and has been sent off to xman to be reconditioned Cleaned manifold, boost pipes etc and I'm gonna get a new air filter - currently got a pretty dirty S2000 and 100mm ramair cold air feed Some people saying standard air box maybe too small for 250bhp, was thinking jabbasport cone in a box? Otherwise ramair foam cone filter? Just a fresh s2000? Aem dry flow? I any of the 3 above I'll need to somehow make some sort of Heat shielding, if anyone has some advice or guides on that.
  7. Mines going to be for sale soon, SE 102k miles. Cat C and not the best example but will be on autotrader for like 3350 ONO or 2995 if I take off whiteline rarb and milltek turbo back.
  8. I'm after a grill, let me know price posted
  9. Does that even do anything, been thinking about getting a rarb but rsb?
  10. With or without tyres it doesn't matter As cheap as possible, seen some steals on Facebook but have been too far away or others have got to them before me.
  11. What's the best oil to use for my BLT 2007 VRS? Stage 1 REVO map 98k miles E/ my dads asking about some 5/30 or 5/40 fully synthetic oil he saw in home bargains for 13.99 branded rock oils or something, asking if it's OK to use on my PD130
  12. No truer words have ever been spoken.
  13. So at the start of the year I ordered these because I wanted to get rid of that horrid arch gap on the VRS. This is the first car I've lowered and I was told springs and dampers are better ride than coilovers so get some decent ones, which I did. My area is full of speed bumps and needless to say, I won't be lowering a car again, I'll take my loss of money and ~10 hours work + stress as a lesson. So here's what I'm selling exactly. Was on car for just over 2 weeks or so, only about 170-180 miles on them. I've lost some of the packaging and have improvised, see pics. Given the dampers a clean and a quick blast of paint to freshen them up. VOGTLAND kit (springs and dampers all round) Meyle top mounts + bearings (with spare mount) Mk1 Mondeo drop links (to account for the drop) All cost something around £365 Can sort out delivery, collection or meet half way. I don't fancy posting something so heavy, but as a last resort I may be able to. £250 for rules sake. Will consider P/X for RARB TL;DR everything you need to lower your VRS, almost brand new £250
  14. So may end up buying a legit rear badge then? How much are pasty boys?
  15. You mean they've sticked the badge sticker on the grill part where the badge goes without the badge therefore not being right and not lasting? Might try then asking as they last over a year is be happy. Thinking of refining my wheels and not using center caps, but see how they look first. Think I'll try the stickers.
  16. So pasty boy does them skins to go over the badge? The fully set of new style skins are about 15 quid on eBay for all, front, back, wheels, steering not wheel and fob. Otherwise 2 badges from skoda front and back 80mm are like 32 quid!!! Are the skins decent then and last?
