  1. Anyone know the reason for the Rapid to continue pulling (i.e.accelerating ) even when braking. Without using the accelerator it will travel at almost 30MPH in 4th gear I find this rather dangerous especially in winter conditions. Also has anyone found the answer to the horrendous booming? Skoda UK just say it is a characteristic of the car. Not acceptable in my eyes but they have made it very plain they are not interested.
  2. I too am suffering badly from the Rapid Boom. Took car back to the dealer who said they had the problem with other Rapids, and it needed the boot adjusting. This was carried out but has made no difference whatsoever. This boom becomes unbearable over rough surfaces and more noticeable at low speeds. I was told by the service manager that if this had not fixed the problem there was nothing else they could do, and I could try putting a thick rubber boot liner in . Not acceptable in my eyes, and very poor service from a Skoda dealer.
  3. Please please can any one come up with a solution. Skoda UK say it is just the way the car is and put up with it. Not the reply I expected.
  4. I am suffering badly with the Rapid booming, my wife now refusing to ride in the car because it is that bad
