thanks for the reply. I have checked the level, I can't see any marks on the reservoir, the fluid level is about 1/4" from the top. when I move the car by hand you can see the fluid moving but not enough I don't think to set the low level indicator off. thanks for the reply. earl...

I did check the foot brake lights. would I be right in thinking that if it was a permanent ( not an intermittent one ) fault the warning light and buzzer would sound every time i turned the ignition on.

hello everyone, just come home from work and the dashboard brake light came on and started beeping, I've looked through the previous posts which I found most helpful. my main question is other than checking the fluid level and the handbrake switch has anyone had this problem and it been something else. the pads are newish and the car was serviced in may. thanks in advance. hello, I had this problem on my 2002 fabia. I did the same as in the first reply, I used a high quality automotive silicone and put plenty on. I have not had a wet door card since.(12 months). earl.
