Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP 2006 - Oil sump allen key
TDMusic posted a topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Hey guys, I have misplaced my manual and was wondering if anyone knew the size of the allen key required to get the sump nut off as well as what size washer i should get to replace the old one. Thanks guys! -
Thank you very much!

Hey guys, Seems like a pretty stupid question but everywhere seems to give different ideas on what oil to use. I have a 2006 1.2L HTP Skoda Fabia, i'm going to swap the oil out, i have been using 5w40 to top the engine up as recommended by a friend but want to ensure that i put the right stuff in. Any recommendations or can i stick with 5w40 (although apparently they have a PD version, should i be using this?!) - A confused person Edit: By the way i'm not one for using premium oil etc on the car, i just need to do a swap and keep the car happy, it's just a little run around )

We changed the fog light on my friends 1.4 2002 skoda fabia simply by taking off some of the plastic grills that make the bumper look pretty, saved us taking the entire bumper off and replaced it in about 10 minutes.

Thank you! Will be giving it a go today if the weather decides to perk up. Out of curiosity, what can cause it to go? He has an old 2002 but saw no signs of it fading away, simply stopped working one day :( -
Oh wow a tape deck, haven't seen one of those in a few years :p I need to look at a way of attaching it through the air vents i think, the head unit only has USB, iPhone/android support and AUX, i saw no point in getting a CD one now as i don't think i've used a CD in about 4 years! I have seen a few magnet holders, anyone here used them?

Nice idea, be great for me if my damn stereo had a CD player :( Need to think of a non intrusive way to do that!

Hey, Fuse is fine, apparently a garage said it needs a new pump, picking it up tomorrow. Am i right in saying this is a wheel off job? and then a simple switch? (I have the manual at home so will be following that) -
Thank you very much! Would really appreciate the photos

This is what i'd like to do, how the hell did you run the loom to the glove box, had a quick look and couldn't find an opening from the centre dash :(

Cheers guys, will take a look at the fuse when i get a chance, any other fuses that i can swap it with to definitely make sure that it is the fuse before i order a new one? With regards to the windows, hopefully someone knows as I'm clueless :L -
Howdy, A friend of mine who runs a Skoda Fabia (mk1) 1.4 2002 has some really odd issues with his car. Firstly the electric windows swap, like the left control will lower the right window and then the right control will lower the left..and sometimes it swaps. I have no idea whats causing this. Secondly out of the blue the screen jets for the front and back have stopped working, headlights are fine, windscreen wipers are fine but just nothing out of the jets, no noise coming from the pump either. Was thinking possibly a fuse? or just a faulty pump. Any advice?
