I have 2002 octavia vrs and I bought a second hand motor for the drivers window but it doesn't work with my car. I was wondering if I can use vcds lite to recode it. And if i can how?

i have vcds lite, would it work with that?

Anyone know how to reprogram one?

Yeah external handle opens the drivers door. I got a window motor for the drivers side but when i connected it up, it only put the drivers window up and down. I couldn't put any other windows down from the drivers controls. So i don't know if i need to program it to the car.

I noticed a little bit of corrosion on the drivers side but I've cleaned it up and i didnt thought it would control the passengers side.

Yeah the big multi plug that connects to the window motor. I was thinking it may be the convenience unit under the steering wheel area. I'm not too bothered about the interior light yet until i get my door opened.

Finally got my door card off and took a look at the pins and connections and they look brand new. Any ideas what it could be now? If its the main control module where is it located?

Checked my car today for fault codes because the EML was on and it turns out i have 10 fault codes Codes are: VCID: 321799CBED37 2 Faults Found: 01314 - Engine Control Module 013 - Check DTC Memory - Intermittent 00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent 1 Fault Found: 00532 - Supply Voltage B+ 07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent 3 Faults Found: 17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!) P1297 - 35-00 - - 17544 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Lean P1136 - 35-00 - - 16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent 2 Faults Found: 01336 - Data Bus for Comfort System 80-10 - Single-Wire Operation - Intermittent 01304 - Radio 49-00 - No Communications 2 Faults Found: 00929 - Locking Module for Central Locking; Front Passenger Side (F221) 27-00 - Implausible Signal 00930 - Locking Module for Central Locking; Rear Left (F222) 27-00 - Implausible Signal Any ideas what they are?

I have bought osram nightbreakers unlimited for the main lights and fogs. Has anyone got pics on what they look like on?

Hi, I have 2002 occy vrs and I have the standard halogen headlamps but I would prefer HIDs but I know there's alot of laws regarding this and other factors. If I wanting HIDs what would I have to do? Or what bulbs are best to give the hid style look?

my vcds keeps saying no response from controller as well so i cant do much checks on the other electrical stuff

if i can get to it, how/what would i use to clean it?

any ideas on how to fix it, cant open the door to get the door card off.

Would the codes come up on the lite version of VCDS? Yeah, that's alot of money just to get the door to open. I can buy the door mechs off of ebay for £20 I live in Fife, Scotland so youre a bit far away.

Replacing the door mech sounds alot of hard work or/and very expensive.

The connections looks fine, none bend or green corrosion in them. Do you know anyone near me? Would fixing the drivers door mech fix the passengers deadlocked situation?

Doesn't seem to be any water there. I have took pics but don't know how to upload via my phone.

No led light. The light on the dashboard comes on if i leave the door on the catch. If I disconnect the drivers multi plug what should happen? The only door which unlocks with master switch is drivers passenger door and the boot.The is no sound from other doors when it is pressed. Mileage is just under 110000 miles, only 2 previous owners. There is no buzzer sound. I've already replaced the window motor/regulator as the window did not move.
