    Fan stays on

Thanks gents .......might give it a good blast up the motorway & get it nice and hot next time I'm using it

    Fan stays on

Wife just asked if the engine fan is supposed to stay on after a 20min drive down motorway when parked? Yeti 140 Bhp model. Thanks in advance
  3. That looks fine & will be a winner for Renault I thinks but I got the yeti because it looks like a errr....yeti!! Run x3 ren traffic vans ones got 120,000 miles on it for the company & have all been good & they get used big time!
  4. I've got a 521dab in my T5 sportline kombi van as it's factory fit and to be honest it's crap comperd to the bolero vw/skoda stuff ..not very user friendly especially on the move.
  5. Must admit I never look at the fuel economy if I like the car it's not one of the things I look at much but 36/38mpg sounds good to me for a yeti 4x4 brick ? Think my transporter T5 van does about 30/32mpg & that's a diesel 2.0 liter bi turbo & a proper brick shape!!
  6. PDI Bossfox conversion?
  7. Yes it's a 964 C2 I'm a vw/porsche guy but only the air cooled stuff not the modern fandango stuff!!
  8. You can get the mirror boss off but there is a risk of the screen cracking off but if done with care it can be done....heat is the key!! Pm me & will go over it on phone if you want.
  9. Yep mich alpin 5 got them as a gift from a customer I do work for so I'll let you know how good they are when we get the first big dump of snow as I live on top of a 16% hill that's fun to get up & down even the wifes old disco used to struggle but I've got a old basic Feista 2wd on winters with skinny wheels & gets up no probs!! So be interesting to see how the yeti copes on winters & hadex.
  10. Cheers Carlo. I just use it to crack,um off, then when I tighten them up I add a scaffold bar to the breaker bar & do them up to 800nm as you do...
  11. Yep still can't work out why on this forum the photos are small as on my other forums they pop up fine? Anyways thanks for comments guys
  12. Right had it for a month now & been to Cornwall & centre parcs with the clan and so far I'm really impressed by this yeti so far & I was a bit concerned with it being a 140 Bhp model as it replaced a Audi rs4 avant but the wife didn't get on with it so we looked at all sorts before deciding on this black edition & she's very happy with it so that the easy but out the way. proformance wise I was going to get a remapp done but to be honest now I've run around in it a bit its fine so may live with it a bit more and go from there plus the wife thinks it's pleanty nippy so all good... Gave it a good wash today as not been cleaned for 2 weeks as been biz at work & centre parcs so got up early today and got buckets out!! Winters on tomorrow
  13. Pull both inner a post trims off jump inside with a good light & get wife to hose down car around roof & screen etc for a good five mins at least and Check for leaks & above mirror as that's where a lot of screen replacement guys do the join.
