I got genuine Superb rubber mats and I'm never going back to carpet mats. With all the rain coming off feet I've come to the the conclusion that carpet mats end up smelling stale and damp and slightly stinking up the car even after they dry up. With the rubber mats, even though they don't look as good as carpet, the car 'smells' fresh all the time.

Ah. You see my cover has no tension in the actual sealed unit that slots in behind back seat headrests. I don't think the silicone spray on runners and guides will help but I'll give it a try, thanks again.

I stand corrected. My old Subaru Legacy passed NCT with one mirror indicator not working. Tester told me they are not essential - only front and back must work. They must have changed the rules since then.

I'm not sure about bulb replacement but I thought mirror indicators are not inspected: just standard indicators in front and back only should be working for NCT?

I tore my hair out for a month by burning DL disks at various speeds but still got the infinite loop install. Then I tried a burner inside my IMac instead of third party USB burner and success. Try different mates's computers to burn disk. I personally think it's down to quality of disk drives.

Damn. I must have done something. Now Phone connection showing up on start-up as well. It went straight to MFD for the last 2 months no problem.

Superb Combi retractable boot cover has stopped retracting with no spring tension. Is this common and is there a simple fix? I have one month left on secondhand warranty, dealer won't be happy to replace it - looks like it's about £200. Thanks, folks.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Can somebody point to a link on Navigation.com or anywhere else that sells the official V11 map DVD? Because, for the life of me, there seems to be none for VW or Skoda anywhere.

Why is there no option to get V.11 SatNav DVDs or SD cards from Navigation.com? Only options there is for new Skoda or VW GPS Systems free downloads. Or did I click wrong?

Hi folks, Just got a September 2010 UK Superb 170 import in Ireland. I am kind of sure you will all say 'VCDS' but here goes. Can I change Maxidot to give info in metric? For example: Fuel range in KMS, fuel usage in l/100km. Thanks for any help.
