I do a oil and filter every 3500 miles and mines always black , don't worry mate some engines just dirty the oil more then others

hi im having the same problem with mine , ive just fitted a new compressor and the fans were replaced six months a go due to running constantly , there are no faults in any system on the car , the actual values in vcds are saying the compressor is working but the pressures dont alter until ive driven the car for about two miles , it then works with out fault until the car is turned off, once restarted it needs to be driven again ? any sugestions ?? regards phil

i have goodyear eagle f1 in 225/40/18 on my oct mk2 vrs , and they are the worst tyre ever , i completly hate them , my wifes1.4 clio will beet me on even a mildly damp road never mind snow and ice !!

well thank god the snow has gone , i have gotten stuck so many times(octy 2 vrs petrol ) , i thought it was just the tyres which were rubish (eagle f1) in the snow , but reading the replies on here , maybe not ! i started using the wifes car (clio sport ) and did not get stuck once , as much as i hate to admit it

hi , i have had my car remapped by a company called eco power tuning , and not to sure if i have a poor remap or a problem with the car , when starting the car for the first time that day it is reluctant to rev above 2500rpm , and hesitates , to clear this i have to hit full throttle and it wheel spins a lot , also it seems to go better when on half throttle than on full throttle , also can someone also tell me when the main torque comes in and goes , as setting off from junctions is very difficult (it either wheel spins or bogs down . it seems to pull from 2300 to about 4000rpm then back off again ,there are no faults in the em system , thanks phil

i have a 55 plate vrs it has maxi dot , all electric windows , center arm rest/ jumbo box , dual climate and full screen sat nav , oh and 18" alloys , so how much of this was standard ? and what would have been the cost of these items as up grades ?? cheers phil

hi all just had my car remapped , wow what a diffrence ,its only stage 1 , with no other mods but why they cant go like this as standard is beyond me !!!

a question for damo , is it worth spending the extra money on a induction kit over the panel filter ? and also heard they have probs with diverter valves ? if this is the case is it worth getting an uprated unit before getting a remap done ? regards phil
