  1. Well, we all love good timing at us is also above 30 degrees and till the last week we were still in coats at as low as 8 degrees in the morning 🤔 To conclude this topic: today I've got a used genuine V68 motor, which was guaranteed to work flawlessly, I have installed it in my car, performed basic setting with OBDeleven like before and behold: all is well and no more errors 🤨 so to recap: the AC servo motors must be genuine to ensure that it all works without a problem or at least don't buy aftermarket motors from Febi Bilstein (which is my first negative experince with this brand after an enormous quantity of replaced parts without an issue...)
  2. That is exactly the same in my car, but without the clicking, because the motor is "stuck" on hot air blow position, but when performing basic setting and doing output test, it works both ways... maybe it is the problem with the part itself (it is Febi Bilstein one)... On the plus note, I have discovered that it is possible to remove the motor without dissasembling the interior, all you need is to remove the glovebox and it is also very good to have a 6mm rachet wrench and small fingers
  3. @KenONeill by "flapperobics" you mean performing basic setting or something else? On the other hand, it is also possible that I'm doing somethink wrong... with OBDeleven I go to module 08 (Climatronic) and then under "Basic setting" I go to channel 004, is this the correct procedure? Because in the workshop manual there is only instruction for performing that with VAG 1552 diagnostic tool 🤔
  4. I will try to go again through basic settings, maybe it will help... measuring blocks are correct when blowing hot, but incorrect when blowing cold (instead of value 100+ it shows less than 30)... To change the motor you need to completely dissasemble the whole lower dash, centre console, armrest,... basically only the steering wheel, dials and upper dashboard stays in place... It is also easier, if you remove the front seats first ;) Then you need to remove footwell heating duct and only then you have a decent access to unbolt the 3 6mm hex screws, that are holding the motor in place... Needless to say, it took me a few hours to get it done...
  5. Hi everyone, on my Škoda Octavia Combi 1.8T 4x4 MY2003 i got a code for a faulty V68 motor (error code 01271), I replaced it, but the climatronic still doesn't work right. I have done a basic setting and an output test and the V68 moves freely without a problem, the wiring doesn't seem to be damaged/faulty, but when I start the car and/or climatronic, it is stuck on "hot" setting (the flap is in position to blow hot air through the vents) and the original error code is still present, marked as active and cannot be erased... but when I do the output test again, V68 moves without a problem... Did anyone have the same issue and how did you solve it? I'm out of ideas... Thank you in advance for help 🙂
  6. Hi, I am also wondering how to wire the pump for headlight washers so it turns on when it's supposed to. I found that I needed the right relay (part number 6U0 955 535) and some sort of wiring loom to properly retrofit the whole system. I am wondering if the Kufatec loom for the Mk4 Golf (https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/headlight-washer-system-w-o-sensors-harness-vw-audi) with the suitable relay would do the job or I need something more? Thank in advance for help ;)
