well i have had my type r since yesterday and i like it man the noise between 7.5 k and 8k is brilliant and to be honest it feels a lot better built than the fabia but obviously only time will tell

i had the fabia and it gets traded in tomorow for an 07 type r gt to be honest the fabia is great in many aspects as is the civic type r but to be honest they are completely different in many ways i say go for a test drive in both and then make your mind up

i loved my xrdt would have it back without second thought and my one was a diesel hot hatch but i did through stupendous amounts of cash on the engine only for it to blow up spectacularly

i would say go for another standard one for now mate although my car is now as we speak sat in vag tech very poorly and possibly needing a new turbo aswell lol maybe run it to another specialist mat always worth a second opinion mate

no problem mate its nice to give something back to this forum it helps me out enough lol

just got off the fone to my dad and this is the one i have laser 1314 suitable for fords mazdas mitsubushi toyotas hondas jaguars nissans rovers subarus and other abs equipped vehicles this is the one i used buddy it is a little bit fiddly but done the job fine on mine and mine is an 06 vrs cost about 20 squid hope this helps

i used a laser wind back tool a few weeks ago and it worked fine dont know the number of the top of my head but will have a lookie when i do to my parents this weekend

i have all them apart from the sat nav my car was an ex demo so i didnt pay full list for all my extras

it has been done up as tight as possible it just seems to work its way off i have done it up with grips this time lol its due its brake fluid change in a months time so i am hoping they will be able to get it back off haha

just wondering wether you guys have been having the same problems that i have had with mine basicallly my one always seems to work its way loose and falls off i have 2 spare ones now as the problem keeps reoccuring after changing the rear brakes at the weekend and retrieving to from the bottom of the engine bay i am at my wits end the car is still under warranty thanks fpr your help guys

my car was doing this last night in 6th gear i dont think it isnt nothing to worry about as mine is map and the car was on full boost for a little while

cruise, heated seats, sunroof and xenons here but i have a silver one lol

im afraid going to have to pull out of running guys as my other car not the fabia got torched last night so i have been left with a nice fat bill to play fro if you need any proof i have pics sorry to let you guys down still will be down to support you guys tho

im in will need to see what kind of power my engine is running with the new turbo

as well as my fabia i have this just needs a new engine at the momment as i pushed the old one a bit too far which ended up with the cam being in 4 pieces

hi guys about 2 months ago my car started developing a tapping noise when the engine comes on to boost at first i put it down to old oil as the car was due its service now the car has had its service the noise is still there and now it seems to be getting louder so i have taken it down to the local dealer and one of the techies took me out in my car and had a listen he seems to think that the noise is actually air escaping to me it sounds mettalic anyway he did not have a clue as to what the proble is and said that he was going to discuss it with the technical dept at skoda uk so i was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem before or may have a clue as to what the problem could be the car is on an 06 plate and has had a jabba remap on it for about a year cheers guys

i have a sports cat on my blueflame system it aint too bad asked whilst the car was at jabba for a remap wether it is worth de catting the car they said not to bother unless i upgrade the turbo due to the fact the standard turbos like to spike with them on

the strut brace done hardly anything to mine handling wise but the jabba rarb is a worthwhile mod the lift off oversteer you get with it is enjoyable but yet very controllable the car seems more stable when poressing on too

my mate has an se just as low as yours and he is after a sump guard as he has caught the underside of the car a few times now it only takes a bump to catch you out being that low !!!

just wondering if i disconnect the battery for 10 minutes will it stop the light coming on i know the fault is stored on the ecu but the light is pretty irritating lol

no i never oiled i ended up giving it to my mate and i put the standard one in what is an ipa in car terms i know it is a bitter lol

nope i was on a green cotton for a little while but ended up putting the original back in

what is the life expectancy of the mafs then as my one was replaced about 7000 miles ago will it be fine to drive around with the light on till i can get someone with vagcom to reset it ???
