    Thanks for the link, it doesn't mention coding anywhere so it looks like it's not needed. I'll fit the new engine and see how it goes.

    Hi All, I'm in the process of replacing a failed 1.4 TDI BNV engine in a Fabia. I was going to fit a second hand engine as simply as possible but then thought about injectors. Are they individually coded to the ECU with this engine? I'm just working out if I need to swap them over from the old engine or not. Cheers
