  1. I have the Estate and I have to remove the driver from the set to make it fit without folding the seats down. I can fit the set across the boot if I open up one of the side bins.
  2. My 2013 Superb just threw an airbag error and the buttons on the steering wheel and the horn have stopped working. Wipers, indicators and cruise control are working normally. I have plugged it into my VCDS and the following errors came up: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 15: Airbags Labels: 5N0-959-655.lbl Part No SW: 3T0 959 655 D HW: 3T0 959 655 D Component: J234__LD5 VW10 HI 2118 Revision: 24019000 Serial number: 003LEP518A34 Coding: 0017461 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00064 VCID: C281600A9D734031B84-8097 Subsystem 1 - Serial number: 6332MTS639520643 Subsystem 2 - Serial number: 6342MTS639650643 Subsystem 3 - Serial number: 6351HTS62PN0RBKJ Subsystem 4 - Serial number: 6361HTS6PBP0RBKR Subsystem 5 - Serial number: 63727TS6FGD4RBKR Subsystem 6 - Serial number: 00000000000000000 1 Fault Found: 00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95) 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 11100001 Fault Priority: 2 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 255 Mileage: 43257 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2015.04.29 Time: 17:44:12 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 16: Steering wheel (J527) Labels: 5K0-953-569.clb Part No SW: 5K0 953 521 AT HW: 5K0 953 569 B Component: LENKS.MODUL 016 0140 Revision: FF010041 Serial number: 20130319800687 Coding: 1882140000 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00999 ASAM Dataset: EV_SMLSNGVOLWSXS A01004 ROD: EV_SMLSNGVOLWS.rod VCID: FEF9D4FA610BE4D19CC-80AB 1 Fault Found: 365080 - Controls in Steering Wheel U108E 00 [009] - No Communications Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 6 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 90 Mileage: 44012 km Date: 2015.05.14 Time: 13:01:00 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have tried clearing them but they pop up again immediately. I'm thinking it's the clock spring or a break in the wiring? Any and all thoughts welcomed. Biggi
  3. Have you tried talking to these guys? http://www.ecutesting.com/catalogue/skoda_eculist.html?category=4047&model=532 They fixed the ABS pump in my Touareg, very fast service and a great price
  4. I have the 35W kit from London colour, http://www.ebay.com/...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
  5. I have the 1K0 937 087 AE module, it has been replaced with a new one. The question remains, should I try the HID´s again and risk frying the BCM?
  6. I only changed bit 4 in byte 14 from 0 to 1. I did not change anything else and kept my light switch set to Auto
  7. That's what I thought. The question remains - what is the correct coding?
  8. This is the one I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330379335700?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It's a non-canbus kit and it's a 35w hot start bulb.
  9. I'll try to get it fixed under warranty, have already removed the HIDs, but I really like them and would like to reinstall if I can be sure that they won't blow the BCM module again
  10. I have no intention of trying to fix the module, no skills ;-) Just wondering what caused the failure in the first place, so that I can prevent it from happening again if I reinstall the HIDs
  11. Thanks for the quick replies guys. Any ideas what went wrong and how to fix it? I changed the coding in Central Electric 09, byte 14 bit 4 from 0 to 1, but didn't change anything else. Should I have changed bit 3 as well? What about using the "Auto" setting on the light switch, would that cause this fault? Any ideas on where to get a replacement module and how hard is it to replace? Biggi
  12. I have a 2013 pre-FL Superb estate and tonight when I got home the left front turn signal stayed lit after I turned off the lights. I had to remove the bulb so that the battery would not run down overnight. I installed a HID kit from Londoncolour, non-canbus, last week and coded it via VCDS according to instructions here on the forum and it is working perfectly, no errors. I mounted the ballasts inside the lights but I can´t see that they have damaged the wires or connections to the turn signal bulb. Anyone have any ideas what is going on with the lights and if the HID kit could be causing this? Thanks in advance Biggi in Iceland
