    Hello, and happy new year to everyone.

    Does anyone have a set of 17mm x approx 30mm long Wheel Nut covers for my MK1 L&K with the original Wheels?  4 x Hexagon and 1 x round for locking nut. I had a set vanish whilst on a supermarket car park, and I can't find a set online anywhere.

    Hello fellow Skoda Lovers, its been a while since I've needed help but this year we have had a run of Jobs to do on the Skoda, 2 Window regulators, 1 lock mechanism, 1 Intercooler, and a Cam Belt, so far... the latest thing is Xenon Light issue ,Passengers side the Ballast failed so I replaced it, which restored dipped beam , but my Auto Range Controller stopped working? is it dead ? or does it need putting on the computer to update it ?? 

    I have it out of the unit its the expensive one with the metal shield around the body, NOT the all plastic version, there don't seem to be many around, so would appreciate your comments.

    Thanks Dean, no not fussy about colour, i will just paint mine Black. Left and right set would be handy, as these are getting more rare. Also looking to replace 4 fuel lines off the top of the Diesel Filter at some point. Cant afford dealer price of the shaped hoses, quoted £300. I am happy to attempt to do a good job with some fresh 8mm and hopefully the bends won't be to tight. Best, Jim.

    P.S. Thanks for the Parts info, a really handy tool for checking the correct parts etc,. My Fuel lines off the Fuel Filter are going to need replacing, main dealers want approx £300 for the 4 shaped pipes ,have you come across any alternatives? I am happy to buy some fuel line and run my own, just want to make a decent enough job of it. Jim.

    Hello fellow V.a.g. owners Im looking for help on my vehicle. The 4 rubber fuel lines off the top of the Fuel Filter are in need of replacement. I have had good service from Main dealers over the years, with genuine parts, but was staggered by the price of these particular parts, approx total £300.00 Ouch, has anyone come across cheaper suppliers, or a good alternative? Grateful for any feed back. **Part Number for the set that go back next to the Brake Servo, is stamped 1J0130295B** I don't have the part number for the 2 that go to the front of the Engine. best, Jim.

    Hello, could anyone recommend another like minded enthusiast to do some paid work and help me replace the Brake Pipes on the above Vehicle. Just finished re-building rear Callipers, but pipes need changing. I have ordered genuine Skoda pipes where possible, but have no Ramp or Pit to work on the underside. some pipes are obsolete, so someone with Pipe flaring kit is required. I live in Telford and the Car is drivable. Thanks in advance. Jim.

    Hello, i can recommend you try the above from "YelloCar" picture No 13 shows the module in the drivers door which can throw up all sorts of problems due to water ingress. i recently took mine apart, cleaned all areas with WD40 and a small tooth brush, then packed the plug with Vaseline and re-assembled. Thankfully this cured my central locking problem. i hope you are also that lucky. jim

    Thanks for your reply, and Sorry for late response, I am still researching the best way to deal with the leak, i have one bad joint, the work involved removing the whole lot seems disproportionate to my engineering mind. if all the joints on your system are perfect i wouldn't mind having it on standby, dependant on price etc. I will come back to you when I've made a few phone calls.     Hello, again, can't believe your breaking after so much good work. if available? there are a couple of things i need, 1. Air Con pipes, from left hand side of engine returning under the Washer Bottle to the rear Bulk Head, assuming all joints are in tact. One of my Bubble Crimps has split wide open. 2. Genuine front Xenon Level Sensor, part No. 1U0907503A 3. Front Disk Brake Dust cover / Shields for the 312mm Disc, I am assuming they would be bigger than the standard 280mm?     FOUND IT!! 100 Nm + 90% I don't suppose many have renewed their crossmember bushes? I'm giving my car a 10 year makeover. Original metalwork, given a sand blast and paint.

    Hi, The wheels might be of interest to me, but are overpriced a perfect set with tyres just sold on here at £280 judging by that, yours should sell for much less regards Jim

    Hi, i want to test the motors are working on my washer bottle i think there might be 3. ??? 1 front headlight wash. not known to be working 1 windscreen wash. working 1 rear tail gate wash. not known to be working model is 2005 1.9 tdi PD Estate 130 L&K Would appreciate any help / advice / part numbers.
