  1. Thanks, but whether 15 kliks or 15 mph, my n/s mirror still won't come back up.
  2. You only get dipping mirror with leccy drivers seat.
  3. My Karoq Edition will dip the N/S mirror when I put the car into reverse but will not return automatically at any speed. I think it meant to revert to normal at about 15mph. Any ideas??
  4. I have just changed my MY17 Kodiaq for a 68 reg Karoq. B pillar button missing. Karoq is the first Skoda I have had without a button on the 'B' pillar to turn the interior alarm monitoring OFF. (Dog owner~so essential!) I have RTFM, which as usual is not much use. The only way it says one can turn it off is to go> Car> settings>disable interior alarm. And that only once! WellI I tried it, turned ignition off and restarted and it was still marked as off, so apparently the FM is WRONG.... Well that makes a change!! What a complete FAFF! SIMPLY STOOPID MR SKODA! This afternoon I opened the drivers window locked the car, waited for the alarm to activate. waved hand inside, Alarm went off. Locked the car and touched door sensor twice in quick succession, waited again, waved inside.....silence. I assume that way of doing it works as on other KESSY cars? BUT why does it not say so in the FM? DUUUH!
  5. My 'Connect' expires 2/6/18. Not quite sure why as it was delivered 6/4/17. I agree this is a complete rip off. I never bothered to connect to t'internet or any other of the 'Connect' services. HOWEVER.... I do find the 'Connect' app on my mobile IS quite useful. Is that going to disappear as well? Honk & Flash has already gone from the app. Colin Lambert. Dip Mech Eng (automotive). 6. Many thanks chaps. I did look at axleaddict. But just wondered if the 250 had been updated. Yes I am sure it has *6 because it only shows 6 on the MFD. Thanks for all your help chaps.
  7. Can someone with more knowledge than I have, please ......... Explain all the DQ numbers applied to DSG boxes. Specifically....... 2017 Kodiaq 1.4 ,148BHP 2WD 6 speed box. I was told that this was a NEW 6 speeder NOT the old troublesome 02E/DQ250 Transmission. Thanks.
  8. Absolutely! My 1.4DSG 2WD goes like a train, the acceleration and torque is amazing for a 1398cc 1.5 ton brick. For this and all things KODIAQ have a look at the site dedicated solely to 'THE BEAR' . kodiaqforums.co.uk For the Karoq karoqforums.co.uk
  9. The opinion on the Kodiaq Forum seems to be that they are holding them up prior to the launch on 6th April. But now cars built after mine are appearing in the U.K.???
  10. My Kodiaq was built week 9 and has been stuck at Emden for 3 weeks. What the hell are Skoda playing at. I assume since I am in Poole it will come into Sheerness or is that too simply clever??
  11. Any of you have these problems? I went to my Dealer Meadens of Sway on the 5th November to try and sort out some extremely annoying things on my Yeti. I must add here that Meadens are always most helpful. This Yeti is the 3rd Skoda I have bought from them and I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. 1. I was sick to death of the sunroof blind closing all the time overnight and I HAD seen in the handbook that I could de-activate the auto closing of roof and windows, but it did not mention the sun blind. I should add here that I have had many cars with sun roofs and none have ever suffered from condensation, which I gather is your misguided reason for the auto closure of the blind. I like my blind OPEN. In fact I would not care if there wasn't one! I do not need 'NANNY' Skoda doing it for me! However, Meadens de-activated it for me HAPPY-ish! 2. The closure of the folding wing mirrors necessitating slowing down to 9mph is LUDICROUS! And DANGEROUS. I have owned Saabs and Mercedes with folding mirrors. They all folded at speeds up to 30 mph and opened again at about 35mph. I gather that you deem this to be a 'set in stone' safety feature. BUT. I am informed by Meadens that Octavias can fold their mirrors at up to 30MPH. So why is it safe for Octavias but NOT Yetis??? NOT HAPPY! 3. Automatic switching of lights. Meadens advise there is no reported fault. Your system is a complete JOKE! Again, other cars I have owned operate correctly. Ambient light decreases, lights come on, sun comes out lights go out. Skoda Yeti lights do what they want when they want. Driving down an almost totally dark lane with overgrown trees obscuring 90% of daylights, lights did not come on. On various occasions over the past few weeks. I come out of the house in bright sunlight. Start engine , headlights come on and won't go out. Since there is no reported fault I can only assume that your system has the most annoying design fault. Frankly it would be better to do away with this ridiculous system rather than annoy your customers to the degree I am annoyed. SERIOUSLY NOT HAPPY!!!
  12. Hello, all you Skoda fans. I am on my second Yeti. 1.2 Elegance DSG. 1st one as SE+ 1.2 DSG. Live in Poole U.K. Retired. I have some 'annoyances' with my yeti. Please see elsewhere in the forum and shout if you have the same problems.
