18s are just a nice fitment ! Depending on the width of wheel you will have to raise or lower the car . Here's mine on BMW X5 tiger claws Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually haven't looked at the service history since I bought the car but it was serviced in the garage it was bought from all its life ! I'll have a gander when I've a chance .. All this aside , is that price reasonable for the work he's doing ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well he said to me that the older mk1 Octavias don't have the same software as the new ones .. He said something about installing flash onto it ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all ! I have come to the conclusion that my poor little 90bhp 1.9tdi engine is due or some sort of power increase . I have been quoted from various garages from around 270 plus a software update. Is this good ? He said that there will be a 30 % increase in powers and torque ? Any good feedback or even horror stories from remaps on Octavias ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did the stubby mirrors mod that you'd usually see on boras and golfs Opinions ? Personally I like it but it's a fairly finicky mod to do correctly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks guys for all your replys The car is an Irish car and all I'll have to do is replace them and run it through the nct again and more than likely it will pass this time around .. @vrstom yea as you said there I wouldn't have the correct tools for this particular job so I may just save myself the time and effort and get my local mechanic to do it [emoji108] I'll let you all know how I get on with the test ! Hi all I was at my local nct centre today getting my car tested . In preparation I thought I had it passed , but however It failed on both front wheel bearings Did anyone ever replace these bearings with out the need of an expensive press etc .. People I have spoke to said that it is strange that both front wheel bearings would be worn at the same time I have fk automotive coilovers in the car and they arnt set overly low (lowered 2.5 inches from stock springs ) . Would this contribute to worn bearings also ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question , Has your dads car have stripes in the pattern in the glass ? If so he can replace them with the 2002 facelift headlight that is crystal clear Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks guys for your replies I have taken out the badge and filled it in and painted it body colour but I'd love to get the original grill that hasn't been damaged but these are hard to come by without going to a dealer and paying an arm and a leg [emoji20] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
