I had a bit of a shock with offers to chop my vrs against another car this week, one dealer offered £7250 for my 2 year old car i nearly sparked him out needless to say i didnt hang around!! Going by the other offers ive had aswell you might aswell give the car away!!!

My Passenger seat foam cushion has just been replaced again..... but it has to go back again to have a new leather cover, as it ripped like the driver side did when being re-assembled. At this rate my car will be seeing more leather than a bentley!!!

I have recently booked my car back to have the drivers seat recovered after it was ripped whilst being refitted, also, the passenger seat bolster has collapsed again after only 6 weeks.

There is definitely something wrong with these seats, i have just had both my seats replaced because of the same problem, albeit i have leather trim which started to tear when the seat bolsters collapsed pic1 pic 2 pic 3 Forgot to mention.... the car has to go back to the garage to have another leather cover as the new one ripped as was being fitted, and they are on back order like the previous set so it may be a bigger problem than they would like to admit. A day after i got the car i found some some of the stitching had come away from the passenger seat base cover, luckily all of this has gone through warranty with no problems. I hope you guy's with the stubborn/blind garages get your seats rectified.

Im on my second Octavia Vrs having changed from Vw and ive been chuffed to bits with them. I think that any car forum you visit, you will see alot of people having problems wtih there cars.

Ive just had both seat backs and leather covers replaced in my car as the bolsters had come adrift and caused the leather to tear...although when replacing the leather on the drivers side they managed to rip it!!!! so im having to wait for another one now. Not bad for a car thats 10 months old!!! As for the furring, i used to just give the seats in my previous Vrs a quick shave!

Im going to the NEC next saturday I havent been for the last 2 years due to work commitments but the previous events were superb. The last time we went, we had a look round the classic car show which was quite good, Mike Brewer from wheeler dealers was on a scooter stand and was quite amusing especially as he had to explain who he was to the wife who had never heard of him before!!!

Im soooooo jealous!! :drool: I ordered mine around a similar time and I may have to wait till the end of the month. Still, im glad i have chosen red this time.

That was one dramatic ending to the G.P i was sitting so far on the edge of my seat i fell out!!!!

Mine was £401 this year fully comp with guaranteed ncb (9yrs) for me and swmbo. My insurance co did ask for 550 originally!!

I vacuumed my car last week only to find the front passenger footwell wet, i cant quite tell exactly where its coming from, there was water sat in the bottom of the seal which piddled out when i flicked it back but the rest of the seal appeared dry, i hope the electrics arent soaked through. Im going to get it booked in when i can and get them to look at my creaking suspension whilst its there!!

I have recently bought the 400d with the 18-55mm lens as im working overseas at the moment, so i claimed my tax back off amazon and also canon are doing cashback on the eos range at the moment, so it was rude not to. Having used it a couple of times, i have found it really easy to use, even though i know very little about cameras. The lens that i bought is ok, but i would like to get a lens with a bit better range, is there a good all-rounder that anyone could recommend to me?

I have just recently changed my front tyres for goodyear asymetrics (now on the back) So far they seem pretty good, i cant wait to get rid of the dunlop sportmaxx's on the front, they sound awful.

I have just changed my front tyres for goodyear f1 asymetrics as i had dunlop sport maxx from new they are so noisy!! I have swapped the goodyears to the back so i can get rid of the other dunlops there so bad!

My Vrs used about 1.5ltrs in 12.5k, which i ndont think is too bad.

Hi john, from what you are saying, it is possible that your N75 valve has given up, i have fixed a couple of 1.8t's with the symptoms you have described by replacing the said valve. The best way to check this is to unplug it and to take it for a drive and see if your symtoms clear up.
