Yes, it's the arms rather than the blades that have been changed. On the Up!, the passenger side arm is the longer, which accounts for the sweep of the shorter blade. Mine are the wrong way round.

Thanks for the helpful comments. Spotted a VW Up in a car park and discovered the wiper arms have been swapped round - the longer one should be on the passenger side. Now to suss how to get them off......

Thanks. New set on the way....

I've just bought a 2015 Citigo SE and am so far very pleased. I wonder if anyone can explain why the passenger side wiper, being shorter, only clears part of the screen? This makes life difficult in filthy weather trying to see left at junctions with a load of muck on the passenger side. Has anyone solved this by fitting a longer wiper?

Many thanks for the replies - ebay it is......

The front of the rear wheel arch liners are broken on my 55 VRS, allowing crud to enter the sills, so i need to replace them. I've seen some on e bay for £24 each. Does the same part fit all models or is there a specific VRS type? Advice will be welcome. cheers robin

I've just bought a 2005 Fabia VRS with low mileage. It's got a worn patch on the bolster on the driver's seat and I wondered if anyone can recommend some tailored seat covers which would smarten it up? thanks robin

Hello. I've just joined the forum as I'm looking to buy a used Fabia in the near future. I'm considering a VRS 1.4, but would like to get a better idea about reliability and running costs, particularly the oil consumption issue. More research needed before I commit. cheers robin
