  1. Hoping somebody local or in this surrounding area can help. Engine management light has stayed on this morning so I could do with it scanning for fault codes if someone would be so kind. I'd also like a few bits doing via vcds, but that's not priority. Alarm chirp/anti hijack. Thanks Ben
  2. Nice to see you all today, I'm sure I'll pop down again sometime In the near future!
  3. Add me as a "possible" Missed the usual west mids meet, so will try and pop along to yours for a change. Can somebody add a postcode for the meet location please? I'd also appreciate it if somebody is able to enable a few bits for me via VCDS, will throw In a few beer tokens for your efforts.

  5. Just arrived at shark! Stage 1 remap and 312mm brakes being fitted :)

  6. Again... Fed up of reporting this! Cheers for bringing it to my attention. My car no 518 is not for sale!
  7. Yes! Especially as its only text that has been wrote, confirming it as No 518 for sale, I had much better luck last time getting it removed when pictures were attached to the advert. Its happened 2/3 times since I have purchased the car from a fellow brisky member in nov 2014, I believe he had similar troubles in the past with the same thing, This particular car being advertised on Ebay, and pistonheads I believe also. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/330253-sold/ link to previous owners thread of it being listed on ebay as a scam. <<< Lets just hope this advert gets removed again and everybody can get on with life
  8. Yet another ****** advertising my car for sale. Not the first time a scammer has tried to do this. This car isnt for sale, can someone please report the advert. Thankyou
  9. Just echoing what others have said, Great meet, and a good laugh, Card game was good banter too, not forgetting to mention the great hospitality provided from Gilly and Wibble also!
  10. Not sure what went wrong with the links either. Yeah those were the disks and pads I had tried to link, Cheers for the confirmation!
  11. Sign me up Was a good turn out yesterday, good to meet you all, and will be returning again for next months meet.
  12. Hi all, I am looking to upgrade the brakes on my Skoda Fabia Mk1 vrs SE, from the standard 288mm to the 312mm setup. I have purchased the calipers and carriers from a mk4 golf gti anniversary. I just need to purchase disks and pads. I am sure that these are the correct disks that I require, please correct me if I am wrong! http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/104440858/p/home But I am unsure as to which pads I will need. At a guess I think it is those, but again, I'm probably wrong! http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/101440718/p/home I have seen some which wear sensors and some without and I am not entirely sure which I need and why. I would just like the OEM pagid parts. Can someone shed some light on this for me please. I have had a good look through existing topics on the octy mk1 page and still couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Many Thanks Ben
