i own a 2009 3.6 4X4 superb II i need to replace my outer front left cv joint the thing is, this 3.6 model are rare in my country (israel) so i need to know if the cv joint of the 2.0 and 1.8 models would be compatible with my model

i have a problem starting my superb happened to me a week ago i hear the starter and the engine reving but it wont start after a couple of tests i found the problem was this sensor in the picture attached to this post banging it a bit with a screwdriver fixed it i thought it was a contact problem so i pulled it out and bent a little the inner pins to get better contact that fixed it for a week today i had this problem again so i tapped on it again and it started fine i assume the sensor need to be replaced the thing is i dont know what it called so i could get the part number and order it online or something is there a website that i could get a diagram with the parts number ?

hi i own a 3.6 2009 skoda superb i still dont understand how can a car like that, with all the features it offers, doesnt have a bloody usb port for media ?? all i want is to stop using cd's and use a simple flash drive with my favorite songs on it so whats the solution? i probably should have asked it before, but i ordered this cable from ebay http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxNjAw/z/Z~AAAOxycgVTgy1T/$_12.JPG would this work ? is there a connection in the back of the original cd system ?

got it thanks a lot another question please, im trying to adjust the seat and save it onto its memory, doesnt work the manual says, adjust the seat, then press SET, then within 10 seconds i should press one of the number and a confirmation sound should play, nothing happens , it does not save it, and no sound or anything :/

i read theres all kind of menu setting on maxidot here http://www.manualslib.com/manual/739177/Skoda-Superb.html?page=18#manual but the thing is my steering wheel doesnt have buttons on it, so how do i control it ?

superb 2009 3.6 is there a way to make that annoying "Service now" msg when starting the ignition go away ? without going the dealer i mean...

took everything apart today the wiring was a little bit stripped but none was broken checked every wire for continunity and everything is ok what else could be wrong ? the only way i managed to get the electric motors that lock on the glass is buy feeding them straight 12V from an external battery the right hatch button just doesnt do anything, i tried shorting the two wires that goes into the button to check if the button is fault, didnt help i dont know what else to try :/

ok i will take it apart today but to be sure, chances are nothing needs to be replaced ? i read about some microswitch that was faulty, is it my case also in your opinion ?

well ive been searching for it but couldnt find could u help me with that ? just point me to where the wiring would be fault? i already talked to the guy who sold me the car, if something needs to be replaced , now is the time i can demand it, later it will be too late. youre saying the joint between the boot and the hatch, u mean the boot and the hatch buttons ? or the the salon door the the hatch glass ?

btw, the salon button works fine, just the hatch one doesnt, dont know if that helps

hi, just bought the car today, its a second hand 2009 superb 3.6 dont know how that happened but i forgot to check if this works properly before paying... idiot i know... i read a little bit , someone here said a soft tape should be installed on the lock that goes through the little metal door i tried that, it did not help when i press the hatch door , nothing happens, cant hear a motor running and no lights are blinking what else can i do ?
