Don't be surprised if the dealers ask you to pay for it to be plugged it into their diagnostic machine (You DON'T) They will probably say it has faults and want to charge you £100's (RUBBISH) They will probably say it's due to poor quality fuel that you have been using (ANOTHER LOAD OF TOSH) Your car was all fine before they done the emissions fix and now you have the problems so they need to fix it. They may ask to keep your car while they do tests (May not offer courtesy car) some have had cars in the dealers for 6+ weeks now. I don't know your circumstances and how long this could take and the only solution to these problems will be a ecu software rollback which your dealer is 100% not going to do or pay for. If you have no joy with your dealer you can call the Skoda Emission hotline and open a case with them.

Yes I didn't realise until I came across it on the forum. If it has been done I'm now wondering if it could be overwritten with a remap? I need to do some more investigating

Independant dealer but the car has full Skoda history and I was told yesterday it was going in for emissions recall and service today. I have a private buy to look at so will go and see that before I make my final decision.

I'm just about to buy a Fabia Monte Carlo and it has just gone into the dealers today for this update and service. Time to rethink

I have seen a few Fabia Monte Carlo (Diesel 105) but what do you think on the prices? 11 plate Fsh (Cambelt done) 65K miles £5,000 13 plate Fsh 50K miles but £6500 (Sat nav) Do you think the extra £1.5K is worth it?

I'm trying to but every week I'm gambling with my captain and they are kept on the bench for 85 mins or sent off :( I don't come good until next year anyway
