  3. Hello everyone, could I ask advise on how to find out what parts are fitted to my engine in 2013 mk3 1.6tdi . car is fitted with engine code : CLHB 1.6 105hp. trying to find out what style of water pump is is on it as I know there is switching type pump and standard style . also how would I know what style of thermostat is used as again choice of metal standard type and also a plastic type . without dismantling the engine to see what each components are fitted and having to do the job twice is there any way of telling by using engine number or chassis number so I could go to motor factors and buy the parts to give to garage to replace them as at age/ mileage need done . I have been to one local factors and they can’t tell me just gave me prices for both styles of parts and said come back when know what is used on the engine after stripping civets off etc. any advise be greatly appreciated
