  1. So was driving into work this morning when all of a sudden the oil light came on in the car, pulled over and checked the dipstick oil was pretty low - topped it up and all good now. Only had the service done two months ago (first service) my question is this normal for oil to drop so much straight after a service? I spoke to the dealer who said to keep an eye on it? Its a MK3 octavia dsg thanks

  11. Thanks mate really appreciate the help, one last question before I try tackling this - did you use the same amp fuse as you pulled out for the wiper/12v in the spare slot?
  12. Did you plug the piggy back into the original spot where the wiper fuse/12v was? Also did you put the fuse which you took out into the piggy back with another one -as there is two fuse spots? Sorry for all the questions

  14. Hi all, Hoping someone can help as I'm completely lost, I've read a few of the other threads but none that have fully helped me sort this. Popped the glove box out (absolute pain) and then was stumped as to which fuse to attach the wires to. The ground wire is obvious but what fuses are people connecting the acc(+) and the batt(+) to? Also is it ok to wrap the wires around the fuse and plug back in or is there a better way? Thanks in advance I'm totally lost
  15. Can any give their thoughts on the bluefin upgrade? Seems too be half the price of the apr option
  16. So bit the bullet and bought a blackvue the only issue I seem to have is when the car is off the camera continues to roll - it's still plugged into the cigarette lighter but I thought the power would cut off once the engine is of Any ideas?
  17. Has anyone done an ECU upgrade on their VRS - is it worth the funny and is there a dramatic increase in performance/power? Who did you use to upgrade?
  18. So ordered a whole bunch of interior lights from LED perf, noticed now that they stay on even after they should be off, for example the open door lights stay on well after the doors are shut. Has anyone else had this issue? thanks in advance
  19. Cool. I don't have driving mode on my rs just normal and sport so I take it no sound generator. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing lol

  21. Were the octavia rs ever built without the sound generator? Been driving mine for a while and can't say that I hear it
