Guys!! Dont switch off the engine before replacing the sump plug!!! The DSG pump reticulates some oil, lowering the level when the engine is running. If you switch off the enging before putting in the sump plug, more oil will spill over the plastic snorkel and you will end up underfilled. That is why the Skoda service manual says check oil level at correct temp WITH THE ENGINE IDLING, and why so many mechanics think DSG boxes are often over filled at factory - because so much oil pours out over the snorkel when you first pull the sump plug. Its has not been overfilled, its because we pull the sump plug with the engine off. So excellent post Superb dreams, but first sump plug, then turn off engine. At least that is for the mk3 Octavia. Im sure yours will be the same.

Ive read through the manual carefully. Yes you need 1L, attach easy bleed kit full with 1L Dot 4 fluid, bleed 0,3L from Right Rear, then 0.3L from Left Rear, then 0.2L from Right Front, then 0.2L from Left front. Important notes, attach your easy bleed first to check for leaks! Fix these first before filling with fluid. Make sure your tire pressure is 29 PSI max before connecting to easy bleed kit. Ive just done the Mazda today, doing skoda octavia tomorrow.

anyone know how to increase the 'dip' ? I love it buy it only goes down about half as far as I want it to really see the curb near my back wheel....
